Bottle. Chestnut brown, offwhite foam. Light herbal roasted malt nose. Fruity base flavor, top fermented? roasted malt, herbal notes (juniper, rosemary), dry clayish notes. Sparkly, medium full body, dry mouthfeel. Caramel and honey retronasal. Very interesting aromatics which set it apart from the standard Dunkel.

Bottle. Brown colored, clear with a small frothy tan head. Toasty in the nose with earthy notes. Taste is balanced between light sweet and light bitter. However, taste and flavor are lacking. The body is light and the carbonation is low.

* Old rating, 0,5l, crown-top bottle, 04.2003. Lecker!

Thanks erzengel for the bottle!! Pours a deep rich amber color with a light h. The smell is rich toasted malt, earth mild fruit. The taste is toasted malt, a little brown sugar, dry ending. The body is light+ with average carbonation. A decent dunkel.

330ml bottle thanks to Beerhunter111. Pours brown with quickly diminishing head, no lacing. Light, taste with sweet malts, slick caramel and not a lot else. A bit dull.

330 ml bottle. Pours light brown with a small white head. Sweet roasty malt aroma abd taste. A tad watery. Roasty palate. Not a terrible tasting beer, but the name and especially the wording on the bottle are very obviously nazi-glorifying and promoting. Deduction of points for that.
