Bottle by 9.12. Nose full of toffee with faint hops, earth. Gradient clear red-orange body with a rocky beige head. Taste starts sticky, sharp before the wave of malt takes over. Splash of juicy citrus, some fruitiness. Medium body, even has some good Altbier character.

Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass light brown, small head. Starts mild-malty, a bit moldy and also a bit metallically. Soft fruity and malty finish, almost a bit washy. Not my favourite.

500ml Bottle. Appearance is cloudy, brown color with light, fizzy head. Aroma is roasted grains and sweet malts. Taste is roasty and sweet with a nice balance of toasted cereal and caramel sweetness. Palate is light- to medium-bodied, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, and a smooth, sweet finish. A solid Dunkel from a good regional German brewer.
