On tap as part of sampler. This was my favorite of the Boscos line-up. Nice solid body, spicy and interesting flavor. A solid beer for colder, rainy days.

Aroma is of warm sap and honey and wood. Appearance is a deep amber> brown color. The flavor starts alcoholic and hot, then smooths into something much nicer. Strong malty body. I liked it.

On tap with UTA in the NCAA Tournament. Very sweet and very stout? I don’t get it. Blew my mind. It was neat as hell, though.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BLButler08 (12) - Carlsbad, California, USA - AUG 4, 2009
On tap at the brewery in Memphis. Sweet, very fruity tart aroma. Dark, but clear, brown. Excellent mouthfeel. Medium-heavy body. Well-bittered. Sweet and maybe a little too sweet. Tangy at times, a little roast, a good balance. Finish is nice. By far the best beer that I drank there.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 nqualls (1452) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 25, 2009
On tap at the Nashville location. Poured a clear dark amber with red highlights, and a one finger tan head. The aroma was pretty much all malt. Caramel and toffee and a little bit of toast. The flavor was grainy with some caramel and an earthy finish. This was a pretty decent beer. The mouthfeel was a little thick and sticky, but the carbonation and body were spot on.

Had on tap at the Nashville location. Poured the same color as a nut brown ale with a nice head. The smell was of toasted malts - with caramel coming through the most. Taste was similar, very malty with caramel.
