21iceman40 (1668), north little rock, Arkansas, USA May 14, 2007 this was an aight ipa that i had on tap at the litle rock boscos. Not as good as the hopgod as far as pure hoppiness but it did have a bigger malt base to it so it was more well balanced.
jzzbassman (684), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Jun 8, 2008 On tap at Memphis location. Poured an amber-gold with minimal head. Aroma is hoppier than the flavor, which is just an average IPA with a dull finish. Average, and far from intensely hoppy. travita (707), Lewisville, Texas, USA May 29, 2008 Golden in color with a decent head. Medium hoppiness in the smell and the taste along with flowers and a little pine. Bitterness level seems about right. bleeng (275), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA May 13, 2008 4/16/08 on tap at the Little Rock Boscos. Dark gold, hazy, well carbonated and very cold. Fresh hop nose. Full hoppy, bitterness taste with a lingering bitter mouth all the way down. Well done solid IPA-just do something about that serving temperature. CaptBier (239), Birmingham, Alabama, USA May 1, 2008 Draft. Rich copper color. Very clear with thick foamy head. Nice sweet hop aroma. Taste is very pleasant with sweet hops and slight floral notes. A very nice IPA.
We also tried their cask conditioned version. Nice light floral hoppy start but the finish brings it down probably due to the cask. hillfiiiiire (159), Atoka, Tennessee, USA Mar 21, 2008 On tap at Memphis location. It was a hazy amber color without any head. There was a nice floral in the nose and a hint of sweetness. There’s a nice balance on the flavor between the hops with continue with the floral appeal and the sweet malts. It’s actually very well done here. Clean, dry finish. I’d have to say I prefer Boscos’ Hopgod offering though. Also, and I noticed this with all the Boscos beers, the beer seemed more watery than it should have been. But still good, if that can work.
