3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAY 25, 2006
On tap at the Little Rock location. smells like a banana split. like drinking a banana with cloves stuck in it. ridiculously hefe-like. almost cartoon-like in its hefeness. some lacing. hefe people would love this. Of the group, my guess is this is the one beer at Boscos that is most outstanding in its beer category. It is gutsy, in my opinion, to have your lone
wheat beer be this one in a world of popsicle flavor wheat beers. This is a loud, bold, hefe.

I loved this beer. Big hefe fan. Aroma was light citrus. Flavor was heavy clove and banana with some other minor spices on the end. Hazy color typical of most hefeweizen beers. Good selection.

Growler-Memphis. LOTS of clove and sweet banana in the flavor. Maybe some cinnamon in the nose as well as clove. This one takes me back to Germany, no doubt. Love this beer!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 knights97 (98) - Tennessee, USA - MAY 25, 2008
had this one on table, very good, light beer, head was white with a golden body with a sweet fruit taste to it, well balanced and one of their better, balanced beers
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Fightfire4beer (132) - Virginia, USA - AUG 3, 2009
Tap at Boscos. Foggy light yellow with a thin white head. Banana and bubblegum aroma. Vanila and bana flavors dominate. Some lemon and clove sneak in. Good beer. A
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 charcot25 (181) - Cordova, Tennessee, USA - MAY 27, 2007
On draft at the Memphis location. Hazy, almost neon yellow-orange with a small white head. Typical aroma of banana, clove and slight hint of apricot. Tastes the same with the addition of a mild acidity. Medium mouthfeel. A well-rounded hefe in my opinion. I could have done without the huge chunks of orange and lemon that accompained the glass, though.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ChainGangGuy (4120) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 27, 2012
Appearance: Served up at my table a haze, pale light yellow body with a little bit of white fizz up top. Modest lacing.
Smell: Soft aroma of wheat malt overlayed with notes of spice (clove) and Big League Chew.
Taste: Minor graininess incorporated within the light malted wheat flavor. Some sweet wildflower honey accents. The anticipated spicy clove and bubblegum, though not much in the way of banana esters. Semi-dry finish, scantly creamyish with a continued wheat taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium to medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Decent enough. As with many of the Boscos brew, it’s just okay.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerHawk (1748) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - SEP 12, 2005
Draft at Nashville location: Served with a lemon slice. Cloudy yellow with a white head that left some lacing. Moderate aroma of oranges and banana. Hoppy flavor with oranges and pine detected. Light and watery. Nice smooth Hefe.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 decaturstevo (4075) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUL 10, 2007
On tap Nashville. A hazed golden pour. An aroma of corriander and bannana. A crisp flavor of the corriander comes out first then fades to the fruit and finishes with a very light bitter. Another decently carbonated beer with a solid palate all round but just a tad(wee tad) on the light side. Very good for the style no real flaws. I might should have rated it a tad higher. Maybe next time.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 seymour (1099) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 31, 2011
Tasted on tap at Nashville brewpub. A nice hazy golden color with fluffy off-white head, somewhat lasting and even a little lace. Aromas of whole-wheat bread, citrus, pepper, clove, slight banana. Tastes of mild barley malt, mellow wheat, restrained bittering and flavor hops, more fruity yeast esters. Light-medium body, spritzy mouthfeel, lingering spicy finish, drier than expected. Tasty and true-to-style, but not a classic.
