COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Harvested hop “cones” fresh out of the field are often referred to as “wet hops”. Not matter what the final form the hops will take, there are several, the hop cones are dried, or cured, so they will not mildew. In our Hop Harvest Ale, we were shipped wet hop cones direct from the fields. These fresh hop flowers were added directly to our brew kettle. For those of you who know your hop varieties, we used “Citra” hops. Facts: O.G. 1062, I.B.U. 35
