[Nashville]–on tap-pours a foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is soft orange, grain. As it warms, some spice shows and the grain becomes sweet.. Taste is orange/resin/herbal hops bite, medium malt-caramel. Finish is bittering hops bite.

Pours golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is orange citrus hop. Flavor is largely hoppy with not much else, kind of overpowering. Light bodied and dry palate.

At RAF Chicago: Golden hued with large white head and solid lacing. The aroma hints of fresh pungent hops, caramel roasted malts, twangy grapefruit, and herbal notes. The taste is quite hoppy up front with a mild citric component. The malt and yeast is barely noticeable, but does provide some support. Bitter lingering finish. Medium-bodied with a crisp and firm mouthfeel. Almost double IPA in style, hopheads delight. Enjoy if you get some.

Poured a dark gold with white bubbles. Strong citrus hops consume all nose hairs. Piney hop taste with a sharp grapefruity bitter finish. This was really nice.

Orange, tan head, almost identicle in appearance to the Bombay IPA. Fruity, floral aroma. Dirty, earthy hop flavor, with a looooong earthy, resiny hop finish. According to the waiter, this was the winning recipe from a homebrew competition. Very nice.

The only one I remember well enough to remember from my college days. This was a very hoppy beer but quite tasty. Wasn’t really sure at the time about the strong hop flavors as I am now.

Sampled at Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition festival. Pours golden / orange with a small head. The aroma has piny floral hops, sweet caramel malt and some diacetyl. Medium body that is a bit abrasive and has some semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts like the aroma, but the oxidized side and there is some syrupy sweetness. The finish is thin and overly earthy.

Butters (3735) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 9, 2009
On draft at the Cool Springs location the first week they tapped it. Either this year’s batch wasn’t up to snuff, or this has just been overrated since the getgo. Pours a near clear gold with small off-white head. Honey, floral, earthy, bitter. Alcohol burn on the tongue. Pretty average and kinda mellow. No real hop punch like I had expect from the ’hop god’. But it was one of the better Bosco’s beers I’ve had, so i guess compared to their other crap, this drink pretty good?

Clear amber, off white foam. Aroma is floral, perfumey hops, nice. Taste is big floral hops, citrus, lingering bitterness.
