I really like this. Had it on tap in Midtown. Very fresh. Looks like a stout. Chocolaty. I can’t really compare it to anything. Unique.

From a sampler: Pours a dark brown (almost opaque) color with a medium beige head and decent lacing. Strong roasted coffee aroma, along with a little chocolate. Medium body, containing a nice blend of coffee, hops and chocolate flavors. The rich and somewhat bitter coffee-tasting finish is very nice, and I don't even like coffee. Good stuff.

On tap in Nashville - Very dark brown, nearly black hue. Large light brown head that produces an excellent lace. Medium to full-bodied. Toasted malt with nutty, dark chocolate, and strong coffee hints. Hint of smoke too. Chocolate heavy sweetness well balanced with bitter undertones. Oily and soft mouthfeel. A good version of porter, similar to Fullers but aroma not as distinct or aftertaste as long. Recommended if in area.

Pours dark molasses brown. Moderate head moderate lacing. Prominent dark chocolate and espresso combination that is a great balance of sweet and bitter. Mild carbonation and medium body. Long finish of mild bitter hops and roasted malt. This is one of their best beers.

Tasted on tap at Nashville Brewpub. This porter pours a dark brown color. Small sized beige head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee with some roasted malt. A medium bodied porter. Malts are slightly roasty and chocolate. Hops are floral and earthy. Nice chocolate flavors. Nice balance. Would make a nice session porter. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
