on tap-pours an off white head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-toffee, herbal. Taste is medium malt-toffee/roasty/peat, herbal hops bite, some alcohol.

Tap. Pours nut brown to cramel with no head. Huge caramel malt aroma with light hop notes. Caramel malt flavor with a spicy finish. Warm, fizzy and full-bodied.

Draft at Lil Rock location. Copper brown with a tan head. Mild roasty nutty aroma. Medium body. Mild flavors of toasted caramel with light pit fruits. A little on the weak side overall.

Copper pour with creamy off white head and lace. Earthy hops aroma. Sweet caramel, brown sugar, and a medium earthy bitter. Caramelly from start to finsih. A tad thin with good carbonation.

This is fundamentally an attempt at a 5% ABV barleywine. PA aroma, someplace between England and America, suggests an upstate NY hopping combo. Darkish brown-red, small spongy camel-colored head. Sweet, citrusy, woody, lightly astringent. Medium heavy body, wood-bitter finish with light sulphur. Very light diacetyl. Solid.

On draft at hillsboro village. Pours a beautiful clear rust color, with good dark tan head and decent lacing. Nose is corn and dark grains and sweet alcohol fusuel burn. Rum soaked fruits and bourbon notes. Medium body and cloying. Tastes like alcohol burn. Pass. Cool name though.

On tap at the Nashville brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown color with reddish hues and a well-formed off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel dark fruits, and mild hop notes. Flavor is very malty and fruity, and probably the sweetest beer I had at Bosco’s. Sugar plum and raisin, caramel and toffee, with some hop bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied with medium-low carbonation. A nice beer overall, but not one of my favorites from Bosco’s.

Bottle at the brewpub. Pours a dark red-orange with a thin quick beige head. Aroma is burnt caramels. Taste is caramel, burnt sugar, brown sugar, cocoa.
