The name Pils Pale Ale is an oxymoron. Pils is a lager style and Pale Ale is, of course, an ale. What we have done here is brew our usual pale ale formula but add the hop varieties that would typically be found in a Czech style pilsner. If you ever wondered what Saaz hops really taste like, this is your chance.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Location: Draft at Little Rock Brewpub, 6/21/12
Aroma: It has a mild hop nose with some pale malts too
Appearance: This one pours a clearish amber orange color
Flavor: The taste is much like the nose, light sweet, and light bitter
Palate: It has a fairly light body, with a soft carbonation and a smooth feel
What they tried here worked alright, but overall the beer was fairly unexciting. It is plenty drinkable, but not particularly interesting.
