On cask (Irish yeast), Nashville brewpub. Nice pillowy tan head over a clear but very dark ruby black. Smells like fruitcake and sweet, roasty, dusty coffee. Lighter in body than I was expecting. Some of the roastiness and the deep red fruitiness comes out, but mostly it’s a smoothly sweet and fairly bland beer in the middle, giving way to a slightly roasty, slightly bitter finish that lingers quite a bit. Not quite a dry stout, the appellation "stout" is definitely appropriate: this doesn’t fit an a more specific box. Classic.

Dark mahogany pour with a huge tan head. Aroma is slight coffee. Flavor of mild chocolate and huge coffee, with a bitter bite at the end. A little light bodied for my taste. I like a motor oil stout. Good stout for a non-imp.

Dark brown pour with hints of red. Tan head and lace. Aroma of light coffee. Flavor of chocoffee with a hint of abv. Good bitter, caramelly flavor as well. Medium bodied. Solid pretty complex flavor for a brewpub stout.

(Tap) Labeled as the "Export Stout" at the Memphis location. Pours a very deep brown color with a small tan head. Aroma of molassas and burnt caramel. Silky mouthfeel, and average carbonation. Taste included dry grain notes and a touch of coffee. Very light alcoholic warming at the end. Nice stout.

Didn’t find a entry for their foreign export stout, so I’m entereing my opinion here. On draft at the Memphis locale. Opaque with a nonexistent head. Nice fruity, roasty aroma. Deep caramel, coffee, chocolate notes with a notable warming effect of alcohol. Very satisfying as a desert beverage.

Bottle Conditioned: My what a fine stout it was. Malts galore and a hint of hops to boot. The lace impressed even the non stot lovers.

Beer engine cask tapped by some crazy laymen with a jackhamer..(RAF)..nice dark mud color with shit floating around inside and a fat, sticky, glass-climbing tan head...it feasts the air with buttery roastedness and carmel-lubed whipped cream..flavors were subtly roasty, moderately bitter, slightly salty with nice memories of toasted pumpkin seeds and blackberry jam on an a slice of toasted 15-grain bread with the crust just slightly charred. Good low grav. stout.

One of the best stouts of the RAF. Came out of the engine with beautiful dark brown head atop a dark, dark brown body. The aroma was really very nice with chocolate, burnt toast, a touch of coffee, and, as Trappist Ales Rule pointed out, a nice amount blackberry jam. A really nice mouthfeel and wonderful balance made this a delightful treat.
