poisoneddwarf (1767) - Rathdrum, Idaho, USA - JUL 9, 2010
500 ml bottle into lager glass. Smells of skunk, caramel, cheese, cheap grain. Smells malty. Pours a clear semi-deep gold hue with a dissappearing head that leaves a collar of foam. Taste is extremely malty sweet with no bitterness and maybe just a touch of sour mid-sip. Too malty for my liking. Highly carbonated. Not my thing at all.

2010 Bottle - Pours a clear golden with a good sized white head...aroma is slight lager skunk and tons of corny malt, grassy and grainy...flavour is similar, ample malt, grass and dirt with some light hop bitters...

esjaygee (3903) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - APR 26, 2009
Clear amber with suspended particulates everywhere and a thin white head, quickly gone. Aroma of sweet malt, cereal grains, alcohol and caramel. Taste of corn, alcohol, sweet malt and a cardboard finish. Seems pretty thin. Try their Black Boss Porter, that one is much better.

boFNjackson (4176) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 21, 2009
Bottle... Poured golden with a huge, frothy, white head. Skunky aroma of malts and sweet honey and herbal sugars. Palate was a little thick and chunky. Lots of sweet malt flavors and some hops too. A little tangy of a finish.

apshah99 (147) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 3, 2008
Pours a light golden color with thin white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is malty, tastes almost like honey and corn. This is a syrupy, alcoholic version of bud - a plsnery mead. Not bad actually, just not terribly complex or interesting.. It is hard to believe that Black Boss comes from the same brewery, as it is a far better beer.

scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - FEB 26, 2008
sweet orange peel aroma, some flat corn, gold tinted orange, absent head. very sweet concentrate flavor, warm, metallic. still, at 8.1 itíll get the job done.
