COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Johnny Gold Weiss is slightly sweet and fruity, with a full body. It has a typical hefeweizen taste produced by Bavarian yeast. Strong clove and banana flavours with hints of vanilla.Johnny Gold Weiss is very lightly hopped leaving almost no bitterness. Bottle conditioning gives it a typical cloudy appearance.

Bottled, thanks jolo! Cloudy golden, brief head. Phenolic banana aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Fruity and chalky, with some cloves and slight banana. No bitterness. Decent weizen.

Large head...reminds me more of a strong belguim ale than a weissbeer...milky texture and cloudy colour...fruity aftertaste...enjoyed this drink very much

(Bottle, thanks Sofia) Pours dark golden with an off-white head. The aroma holds clear notes of banana esters with undertones of salty minerals, light clove-like phenols, light grassy hops, peach, mango, wheat, white bread and dough. The nose is German in style, but too clean to be fantastic. The flavor is light sweet, light bitter and acidic. Tones of yellow fruits (banana, apricot and mango), spices (clove and super mild white pepper), wheat, bread, minerals and incense alongside a light touch of salty dough. The mouthfeel is clean and soft with a near medium carbonation. Light crisp. Light citric and wheat doughy finish. Light to medium bodied.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2011 Bottle 55 ml. A cloudy brown yellow colour with a nice smallbubbly head. An aroma of citrus, banana and yeast. The taste is a little sweet and full of fruit (banana) and yeast. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a medium long finish. A good weizbier
