3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Davros (1021) - Melbourne, - OCT 12, 2011
Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows tropical fruity, caramel and some spicy hops.
Flavours are pretty sweet, lots of caramel. Also soft passion fruit. Pretty much not bitterness to balance it.
Could use more carbonation.
Apart from being cloying this wasn’t bad.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 DeliriumT (134) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 3, 2012
Very grassy aroma on this pale amber session beer. Drinkable, but would benefit from some more interesting hop combinations.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Dervock (303) - Emu plains, AUSTRALIA - JAN 6, 2012
Bottle - Golden pour with a thin white head. Strong resin hop aroma (almost oil like) that dominates. Big dry floral hop taste up front, followed by some citrus and a moderate dry lingering finish. Moderate palate, slight fizz.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pyobon (567) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 19, 2011
(Bottle) I wasn’t expecting much of this, but found it really quite drinkable. Pours very clear coppery gold with a short lived thin white head. Has a lovely aroma of tropical fruits with floral and hop hints. Palate is pleasant enough: medium body with very slightly oily / creamy mouthfeel and lively but rather coarse carbonation. Flavour has an excellent start with tangy fruitiness with nice balancing sweetness. It loses its way a bit in the middle becoming rather thin, but finishes with quite decent bitterness. Overall, I certainly wouldn’t call it a great beer but I found it a pleasant, refreshing and readily drinkable one.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 ALLOVATE (1708) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - JUN 27, 2011
Pours a deep amber and bright as bright with post-mix-like carbonation. Lax, Force carbed head disappears quick. Esters of pineapple, apricot and a lot of passionfruit hit the nose, sweet and ripe with little else showing. Extremely sweet, biscuity and drawingly tangy in the mouth. Big wads of apricot, clammy pineapple in back, a fairly evasive, subdued bitterness, mild rubbery and plasticine-like phenolics late. Medium to light in body, very lively in carbonation. There is nothing here to excite and it’s clumsily presented. (33cL, BB 01/11/11, Dan Murphy’s Morley)
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 hawthorne00 (1434) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUN 6, 2011
Bottle. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of butterscotch, honey, grass. A little watery. Taste has toffee, honey, some nuts, a very little tropical fruit. Vague bitterness creeps in at the end. A little thin and rather characterless, but drinkable.

330ml bottle. Looks better than expected and holds a fluffy dense white head that laces the glass. Moderate copper to amber colour with malt and hops infused in the aroma. Sweet and abit fruity. Flavour is quite good with creamy mouthfeel . This is much better than expected.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maris (544) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAR 9, 2011
From a 330ml bottle on 6/3/2011. Has a decent floral, fruity (tropical fruits) aroma. The flavours are relatively subdued, with some sweet caramel malt and tropical fruits evident. Moderately hopped. A reasonable pale ale (I think it’s American rather than English style) but a bit lacking in flavour and character departments.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 davidm (1359) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 20, 2010
Tap at the Courthouse hotel. Not too interesting. Aromas of honey, citrus, and flowers. Taste is sweet, with lingering bitterness. Oily palate, with a thin-to-medium body. Dark yellow, with low retention.
