This unique Blonde Ale is a blend of four malted grains, noble hops finished off with that great Belgian yeast. The result is a well balanced aroma and taste ideally suited to complement just about any gourmet dish or dessert.

Funky white grape nose. Simmering amber, hardly any head. Smelled like it would be cloying, but it’s on the dry side. Again, white grape, light malt. Increasingly vegetal toward the end. Beany. Meh.

Clear golden color with almost no head. Nose of bitter orange peel and some spice. Belgian sugar sweetness, bitter orange peel, spice and nice bready malt. Pretty standard Belgian Ale.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle from Total Wine & More in McLean, VA. Clear yellow pour with a large white carbonated head. This beer really sucks - little bit of sweet grain on the aroma, but it tastes totally artificial. Drain pour.

12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet in Dec. 2011. Pours more than a little fizzy (think under-carbonated soda). Clear light amber. The fizzy head quickly dissipates, leaving no lacing. Smells bready, yeasty, floral and spicy. Tastes lightly bitter with a fairly good balance of spiciness, maltiness, and yeast. Floral and spicy hops seem to be ’enhanced’ with clove and nutmeg. A hint of bananas. Has a fruity, lightly earthy finish with good hop-malt balance. Light+ body. Coarse carbonation to start; not enough at the finish. O: A crisp blonde ale with more spiciness in the flavor than the aroma.

12oz bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a small sized head. Aromas of grains, spices, and citrus. Tastes of citrus and light fruitness. Thin all the way around.

Bottle. Clear hay yellow color, medium white head. Nose of Belgian citrus and straw. A heavily citrus dominated profile with funky Belgian yeast. Not bad, but it seems like more body to balance the yeast would be a welcome change.

12oz bottle at the Flying Saucer in Little Rock, AR. Pours a lightly hazed, golden-yellow colored body with an inch thick, dense, frothy and foamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is wet grain, bread, a touch of yeasty spice, and a hint of fruit. Flavor is better. Grainy malts with a light bready sweetness and a touch of toast. Some yeasty spice in the middle with a few stone fruit notes before this finishes dry and grainy with a light bready sweetness and a light herbal bitterness. Medium length aftertaste following a medium body and a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a decent tasting blonde that made up for a lacking aroma. Some nice grainy malts with a light, toasted bread sweetness and a balancing bitterness. Unremarkable, but not bad.

Bready aroma. Starts off a bit watery, then builds to a yeasty, somewhat sour, fruity flavor. Light malt, little hops.
