This unique Blonde Ale is a blend of four malted grains, noble hops finished off with that great Belgian yeast. The result is a well balanced aroma and taste ideally suited to complement just about any gourmet dish or dessert.

12 ounce bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium sized white frothy head. Decent head retention. Aroma of candi sugar, grain, spice and stone fruits. The taste is grainy malts, toasted grain, tannic notes, honey, fruity notes. Medium bodied.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2014 Aroma of honey, light grape, lemon and herbal hops. Appearance is well carbonated gold with white head. Flavor is slightly fruity with some caramel; the finish is slightly herbal. Palate is bubbly. Alright. 6/3/6/3/12 Rerate 01/13/2014- Aroma: More Belgian yeast character than I remember; gummy and a little medicinal. Maybe some honey or sweet cereal malts as well, but by no means cloying. Detecting a bit more noble hop character this time around. Appearance: Pale, lightly hazy gold with a frothy white head that settles into a solid foamy cap. Flavor: Gummy, herbal, banana notes as well. Actually reminds me a bit of some of the better Hefeweizens i’ve enjoyed. More medicinal yeast and noble hop character toward the finish. Kinda sticks with you. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, very lively carbonation, long finish. Overall: Certainly improved from my first bottle last year. Rather enjoyable, actually. 7/3/7/4/14

The aroma is dusty, yeasty, lemony, and slightly hoppy with a little bit of malt. The appearance is pale gold with a nice head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall not that impressive but not super bad.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Swingbridge Beer and Wine. It pours a nice light gold color with a small, white head. The nose has bits of cereal and grain with a touch of yeast. The flavor is a bit sweet with notes of spice, yeast, grains of paradise, and a slight pithy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A little heavy on the tongue. Not bad but not great.

Bottle from stem and stein. A belgian ale but just barely. Pours golden with a thin white head. Leaves a bit of lacing on the side. Not much on the nose. Mouthfeel was a bit oily. Not much on the tongue. Meh.

Sampled from a bottle at the Hopspitality Brewfest. Pours pale yellow with a thin head. The aroma is hay, lemons, and selzer water. The flavor is citrus sweetness. The palate is light, very carbonated, and a little acidic. Overall, this is a weak beer, which tastes closer to a pilsener than any Belgian style ale.

Pale golden color with a fluffy white head. LIttle to no lacing. Strong yeast aroma with bread, hay and some spices. Light carbonation and body, crisp and clean mouthfeel. Some sweet malts and flavors mostly follow fromt he aroma. A hint of pepper and mild citrus hops on the finish. Refreshing, easy drinking summer beer. If you enjoy yeast undertones, you could session this one.

Had this during the 2011 Shenandoah Throwdown, on the last night when it was just Aaron and I. Pours a clear gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Soft sweet grain, toast and light malt and wheat. Sweet and grainy, soft grain. Drinkable and grainy.
