3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
THOUGHTS: Not awful, but not that great either. Nothing unpleasant, just slightly simplistic for the style.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, medium yellow with a very small, ever so slightly off-white, head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. There aroma had light pale malt; light spicy and slightly funky yeast; green apple; white wine; orange juice; and apple juice. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, lightly acidic and slightly bitter; while the finish was moderately sweet and lightly acidic and bitter with an average duration. There was orange juice, pear, white wine, slight hops, white bread, cracker, spicy and fruity yeast, and grapes. The medium body was sort of creamy, but also a bit syrupy with fizzy carbonation and a dry and lightly astringent finish.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle a slightly hazy gold with decent white head that had good retention. Nice lacing. Aroma was yeast, light toast, and a little lemon. Taste was lightly toasted malt, yeast, a bit fruity. It had a nice balance of sweet on the sip and bitter in the finish. Easy drinker, less a meal beer and more a hot day drinker to me.

3.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Enjoyed on 12-22-15. Brewed by local brewery, Thomas Creek. 6.0% ABV but very drinkable and refreshing. Don’t normally like Blonde ales, but I would get this again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours light golden from 12 oz bottle, fairly clear with moderate white head. Faint malty aroma, not much else. Taste dominated by bittering hops. Mouthfeel unremarkable, reasonably carbonated. Overall bitter light beer, couldn’t find many remarkable traits about it. Good.

Bottle poured into tulip glass. Golden yellow w thick white head that mostly dissipates but a thin foam remains. Balance of mild sweet and mild bitter. Hay floral notes. Not too slick mouthfeel. Decent beer

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 3/20/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden color with a 3 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, bread, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a crisp malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Fairly dry on the finish as well. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good Belgian pale ale. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Old rating. Just alright Belgian blonde that I remember as quite spicy and floral. Better choices but not bad.
