@Mountain Beerfest-on tap-pours a retaining foamy to rocky light tan head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel-secondary citrus hops. Taste is medium malt-caramel, citrus hops-some bitter. Mild carbonation.

Sampled at the NABA 06 Fest: Brown color with a puffy sticky head and average lacing. The nose is nicely hoppy and malty with all sorts of citrus character and toasty biscuity body. Earthy flavor, I’m guessing columbus hops but a lingering maltiness that really improvese the body and drinkability. The finish is clean and pleasant. Very nice pale ale, I was surprised to see it from this company.

Mountain Brewers Beer Fest 2006. Lack of appearance judging reflects opaque plastic sampling cup. Nice complex aroma with caramel and toffee, but also heavy floral/purfume hops. long lasting flavor that’s lightly sweet and intensely hoppy. Quite good.

Wyoming Brewers Festival, 2005: Deep amber brown ... dark, like a brown ale. Syrupy texture; mild carbonation. Very roasty and toasty with a rather sweet malt base ... exuding with molasses and chocolate flavors and aromas. Other notes of caramel, nuts, toasted bread, and coffee. Decent amount of bitterness to boot (pine and grass). Maybe even a pinch of wood as well. Stylistically, not a pale ale by any means, but still a good "beer." Don’t know how to classify this one. Robust brown? Hoppy Scottish? Peculiar porter?
