COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bright if hazy orange-gold; medium but dense just off-white head, quite stable. Very creamy nose; bit of vanilla, blackcurrant and white candi sugar. Later more citrus. Very yeasty flavours: at the brink of sourish, not much sugars left, and shot with a bitterness that reminds me more of dandelions than of hops. With this name and pic... do they think of "vessie" if they say "veschaux"? Dry finish with a little citrus. Very tripel-ishly attenuated, even a bit Duvel-like even when not that dry, let alone that strong. Lively carbonation. There’s pretty little to spoil the picture; and the fact that it is quite easily drinkable doesn’t ruin anything. To me it is just a bit stereotypical.

bouteille 33cl. BB02-2010.

Bottle. Unclear orange with a large head and thick lace. Yeast, orange peel, sour, medium bodied and ... quite odd.

Light amber - honey coloured, no pearling, rather weak snow white head. Aroma: honey and a touch of hops. A pricklish acidic flavour, a sort of oud bruin -, or even lambic-, like, but much maltier and a bit more bitter. Palate cuddling.

Its a good thing there are pics on this website so i can match up my labels and notes i colected in europe. I cant understand the difference in half of these beers- they all taste pretty much the same, probably coming from the house yeast character imparted. Nice hazy deep straw color akin to 90% of thier other brews and good lace. Spicy and yeasty musty aroma with some sweet malts. Flavor again is acidic and slightly sour with hints of sweet wheaty dough malt. Good slightly tart finish.

Fruity hoppy aroma, some grapefruit, sugar, and yeast. Transluscent amber-orange with pillowy white lacing head. Medium-thick body with active carbonation. Starts with a sweet-bitter base, wheat and yeast. Something spicy adds to the mix, finishing with muted acidity and nice bitterness, hops. Well-balanced into the after, with dry bitterness, not quite chalky, but almost. Honey residue. I enjoyed this beer.
