Bottled@Fonefan. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hops, fruits and some mild sour wooden notes. Flavour is fruits, wood and some mild yestyness as well as burnt sugar. With the yeast put in, this loses it’s character.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6725) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 23, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Huge fluffy head, as whipped eggwhite, very persistent over (cold)hazy copperish beer. Malts, coloured malts and a cheesy aroma; later aromatic malts, faint hops and probably white candi sugar. Slightly vegetal, malty, human sweet, caramel flavours. Palate, however, is sourish, slightly fruity. Medium bodied, slick. Spritzy MF. Decent. "Bruine Beer" translates to "Bière Ambrée"??? HEIN?

Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Hazy orange beer with a white head. The beer volcanoed out of the bottle. Spices, honey and sugar in the aroma. The flavor is slightly sour, with honey, sugar and hops. Astringent mouthfeel and a bitter finish with both sour and sweet elements. (060824)
