spiciness and citrusy fruit qualities dominate as in most saison type beers, slightly more sweetness in the aroma than most but not exagerrated or even dominant..amber clear color with very slim white head..going against the grain here but this tastes pretty good to me,spice, apple, white wine, citrus, well masked alcohol and i cant find the overbearing sweetness ive heard about in other reviews..light to med bodied tingly carbonation, sort of an"imperial saison"I like it and would recommend giving it a try

22 oz bottle - pours crystal clear orange-yellow crimson with medium full white head. Decent retention and lacing. Big aromas of pepper, spice, and honey. Esters all over it. Taste is dried banana, spice, and honey. Creamy honey, not too strong, but I like honey. Very palatable, no real burn at high octane. Good brew to try.

On tap at UJs. Golden pour with foamy white head. Smells funky and floral like a sour, but aromas of honey, dough, banana on the tongue. Moderate/high sweetness, low bitterness. Full bodied and dry. Interesting beer. I’m surprised that this has been getting relatively low ratings.

At Big Beers, Belgians, & Barleywines Fest 2013. Semi clear copper-orange with an aroma of dusty saison yeast and that intrinsic aroma of a public library. Flavor was thankfully sweeter and saison-ier. Flavor of sweet honey and pale grains with a very estery Belgo yeast. Nice boozy warmth with a caramel and honey finish.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a caramel-tan color with a medium sized foamy white head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was sweetish honey with chamomile and a light earthy undertone. The flavor was bitey with notes of bread, chamomile, honey, perfume and white zinfandel. Long bread, honey, chamomile and zinfandel finish. Moderately full bodied. Alcohol fairly well hidden. Nice.

Pours deep gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Honey and yeast aromas. Soft with sweet caramel upfront turning to dusty yeast and mild earthy bitterness before the lasting hot, sweet honey finish.

Bottle. Amber pour with a tall, foamy white head. Very sweet aroma with honey, candied fruit, candi sugar, Belgian yeast and sweet maltiness. Taste is sweet malt, candied fruit, yeast, soft spiciness, ripe fruits and honey. Body is medium-full with a soft carbonation and a mild alcoholic warmth. Ends with more sweet malt, honey, ripe fruits, candy notes, Belgian yeast and soft booze.

Dark golden in color.... Aroma of honey and sweet malts... Like a delirium tremens, well-balanced hops malt and alcohol, prevalent honey... Alcohol is well concealed for its ABV... Well done
