Thinnish flavor, with none of the benefits of either the bourbon or the saison. Tingling, some latent finish of the bourbon and alcohol, especially when warm, but not a rocking style...a weird mix. (Tap at Happy Gnome)

A golden amber saison with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma a ligth sweet caramel with light funky cherries, lactic notes, wooden barrel, not bad. In aroma, a sweet caramel malt with light barrel wood, a bit simple and boring, a bit harsh also. On tap at OBF Fringe Fest Belmont Station, July 30 2011.

Tap at Rattle. Pours clear amber/gold with a bit of off white head. Faint aroma with hints of spice, yeast, and oak. Taste has some noticeable bourbon with a light malt sweetness up front, along with some caramel, fruit, and honey. Bit of bourbon on the finish. Pretty solid.

Tap at the Ale and the Witch. Pours a deep copper pour. Light fruity Belgian yeast aroma with hints of vanilla. Taste is smooth crisp malt, Belgian yeast esters and hints of barrel. Not much bourbon barrel notes, would like to see more of it.

Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Fruity aroma with some grainy and funky notes. The flavor has a bit of a funky base, with spicy saison yeast, light malty sweetness, and peachy and apricot notes. Good stuff.
