Clear copper. Small white head. Flavor and aroma of spicy, resinous, piney, earthy, citrus hops with lightly grainy malt support. Surprisingly hoppy after reading "british-style ale" on the label. Medium body, balanced carbonation. IPA is a more accurate description. Solid.

Hoppy aroma, pine resin, syrupy, grapefruit, dank, marry jane! Pours amber/orange. Smooth hops, citrus, pine resin with a heavy malt sweetness.

Bomber purchased at Countryside Liquors Clearwater, FL for only $3.39. Seems like a steal.
Pours a light copper hue with decent off white head and lacing. The aroma is of pungent floral hops that are strong enough to put out real floral hop spiciness. It also leans toward smelling wet hopped too. I can’t pick up any malts hiding behind the hop bouquet. The taste starts with pine and floral hop bitterness. It may not be pine creating the extra bite to the bitterness but rather an intense floral spicy hop bitterness. Nicely done too. Other big floral hop beers I’ve had don’t have manage to create the balance with the aid of this unique bitter hop spice kick. Once the whole hop experience has wrapped around the tongue a few times a rich pale and slightly grainy maltiness comes to the surface to squelch out the hops. The beer ends with mild floral hop flavor and residual malt sweetness. Rather yummy, all in all. The best English type IPA I’ve tried to date.

Draft. Hazy, battery acid in color. No head. Buttery, hoppy in aroma and taste. Dry - evaporates quickly off the tongue. Sampled @ American Beer Fest in Boston

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2007 22oz. bottle. Sweet, citric aroma, hoppy, floral and fresh, with notes of orange, grapefruit, spice and faint cedar along with some lightly toasted malts and even a slight estery touch. Clear medium amber color with a lasting, fine, head and attractive lacing to match. Flavor profile is clean and hop-focused, citric, gently piney, woody, moderately bitter and balanced by a toasty, lightly sweet, grainy malt backbone, finishing smooth and resinous . Palate is creamy and very smooth, with a medium body. Pleasant lingering fruity hop character late. A pretty enjoyable pint.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 matta (1140) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2007
Nice session-ability!
Drinks with a far less intense Hop profile than the Hazed. The beer pours beautifully, copper body and a tall ivory head. The aroma smells of sweet cereal malts, toasted honey nut bread and a lovely array of English and lighter American hops. Some earthy spicy Spruce accompanied by some light citrus. The mouth feel is creamy and buttery. Overall, the best way to describe Cold Hop is to say it’s like Hazed’s British cousin.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 fishingnet (1047) - Brandon, Florida, USA - JUN 10, 2007
Bottle from Kingdom Liquors Brandon, Fl. Pours a clear copper with a small but lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of floral and earthy hops with a nice light malty sweetness. Taste is the same as aroma with a nice earthy hop flavor. Medium thin mouth feel with a well balanced bitterness. Very good.

Well I liked this quite a bit, it reminds me some of Rogue Brutal Bitter, which I like. Anyway, the nose was hop dominated, initially lemon-citrus focused, with hints of pine, but it became more floral. If I’m not crazy, these were Goldings hops in large quantity. Touches of biscuit hiding beneath it. Towards the darker side of amber, full head. Flavor was crisp and very clean, it may be in English in inspiration, but this was an american yeast. Caramel and biscuit malts, resiny and floral hops. Finish was balanced. Palate was medium. Not sure of the strength, but this bomber went down easy and fast, and I could feel a little something when I was done.
