COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Cold Hop British-style ale, a unique ale with a rich golden hue, and the 7th release in our Looking Glass Series of specialty beers. Cold Hop's pleasantly fruity, floral hop aroma and earthy flavor perfectly balance the mild sweetness of the English grains, resulting in a refreshing yet high-gravity British-Style ale.

draft. Clear golden ale w/ an odd grape-muscadine nose, wft. This is present in the taste too, again wft, but there is an enjoyable hop bitterness. Drinkable & tasty, just confusing to me. More alcohol than I expected but too little to be an "English strong". Basically too much WTF for me.

On tap. Pours copper with white head. Nice lacing. Citrus, earth, melon, white grapes. Moderately bitter and sweet. Mostly smooth body with a little bit of carbonation. Starts out well, but gets a little meh by the time you reach the bottom of the pint glass.

Taster on nitro tap at Black Acre brewpub. Mostly clear, golden orange color. Thin, sort of white head, with good retention. Good, thicker lace. Caramel malt, light metallic. Smooth, creamy, very light carbonation. Lightly sticky finish. Mostly dry. Moderate sweet, lightly zesty. Good rindy citrus notes. Decent English IPA, but not great.

Nitro tap. Creamy plans pillowy tan head. Dark bar so in couldn’t make out the hue very well but it looked to be about the color of a Werther’s Original. Extremely subtle aroma, can barely describe it in words here. Someone else described the taste perfectly here - it really takes a few seconds for the hops to kick in. Semibitter resin finish, a little less hop punch than I usually enjoy. Solid but not amazing.

Draft at boulder beer taproom DIA. Pours golden with an inch of khaki foam. A little bit of pine on the tongue. Has some really crunchy pine cone flavor on the tongue. Finished a little dry. Solid.

Medium amber color with a creamy white head. Aroma is lite but great lite pine and citrus notes. Easy drinker that still has good hop flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had the Nitro. Poured very warm. At sheffields. Cloudy orange with a ton of foamy creamy head. Grain aroma I guess. Bread and Carmel notes. Bitter. Slight hops. Not digging the nitro. Would like to try it w/o
