Cable (285), SE, Oklahoma, USA Jun 20, 2006 Sampled from bottle. Pours dark copper with a faint haze and a creamy tan head. Aroma is floral and pine hops with some sweet/toasted malts in the background. Flavor is refreshingly bitter with more emphasis on the malt (bready/caramel). Medium-full body and very drinkable. A very enjoyable pale ale that I’d drink more often if it were available in my town. "
CoachJT (20), Columbia, South Carolina, USA Oct 11, 2008 12 oz bottle pour. Coppery pour with a nice white head. Cirtusy hoppy aroma. Wondefrully balanced flavor between hoppy bitterness and maltiness. Wonderfully hoppy finish, great for hot weather. jkaiser (114), USA Oct 8, 2008 This was number 19 at beerfest. I’m not that sure what I taste anymore. This beer was pretty forgettable. But what do you expect after the first 18 beers have their way with you. Goodgrief (1055), Middletown, Delaware, USA Oct 6, 2008 KSBF 08. Amber pour with a huge pine nose. The malt backbone in this was very fruity but not grapefruit...more like something tropical...pineapple or guava or mango or some other fruit that people don’t eat regularly. Sweet, thick and perfumy. Passable. bbrock81 (193), Le Mars, Iowa, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a medium, nearly white head. Aroma is rich with pine and citrus hop, some floral, smells wonderful. Flavor is very nicely balanced between the high hop bitterness and sweet malty flavors, with some good cereal and bread flavors lurking under the bright, citrusy hops. Palate is medium, and the finish is all hops. Very good! tilldeath (29), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 2, 2008 hoppy hop hop, and a little floral. Good beer to try but not a very drinkable beer.
