EHopper (90), Minnesota, USA May 7, 2008 Golden amber with off white head. Like a mass produced IPA but a little more bitter and sour. If I didn’t like this type of beer, I would probably not like this at all.
LooseCannon (589), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Jul 25, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber in color with tan head. Aroma citrus hops and sweet. Taste light hops, malt and light bitter with bitter finish. Very good drinkable APA. JohnnyJ (639), Reno, Nevada, USA Jul 25, 2008 This is a very mediocre APA. Clear gold/amber. Light mouthfeel with grapefruit, floral hops, citrus, and sweet bubblegum flavors. The flavors are light and overall this beer is easy to drink and not much else. Underhook (65), Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA Jul 19, 2008 Aroma was of hops. Tastes pretty refreshing without feeling weak. Some hops shine through along with a fruity undertone. A bit too watery for my tastes, which hurts it. Overall, worth trying. Trev (456), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Jul 18, 2008 Pours a copper colour with a large off white head. Good retention.
Aroma is nice floral and citrus hop. Caramel hop coming through underneath.
Flavour was a little lighter than I wanted. After the initial bitterness the malt fails to keep up it’s end of the bargain.
Finishes thin.
Could have been so much more. Narnad (59), Dundee, Illinois, USA Jul 15, 2008 Poured a copper color with a solid head which stayed around for a bit. Aroma was strong of bittering hops. Flavor is a very hoppy and bitter, very good. Starts off with the crystal bitterness and moves into a slight lemon/citrus bite in the middle finishing with a solid malt flavor. One problem with this beer is the lack of "fullness" for the taste. Hops is good but the mouth feel is a bit drab.
