COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hazed and Infused

This unfiltered dry-hopped ale is "hazed" in its natural state and "infused" with a Crystal and Centennial hop blend, creating a flavorful aromatic brew. 12.5 Plato

Hazy in its natural unfiltered state, Hazed is dry-hopped during fermentation infusing big, fresh hop flavor and aroma into the beer without adding bitterness, making Hazed a very approachable hoppy brew. Tapping into the creative spirit that launched Colorado’s First Microbrewery, the brewers at Boulder Beer Company have blended together four different hop varieties to give this amber ale a unique aroma, with just enough yeast for a full mouth feel and a smooth, easy finish. So sit back, relax and get hazed.

Aroma is wet hops and wet grass. Caramel aura. Taste is rather malty for being a session brew, and it’s almost spicy in the aftertaste, I get some kind of nutty taste? Not the kind of stuff I was expecting but overall a decent brew.

This was the 2nd brand of dry hopped pale ale that I tried, the first being the dry-hopped red ale by Rogue. This is a thinner color, slightly amber with a hint of red/orange. It is pretty hoppy, but not as heavy as some other dry hopped or super hoppy beers I tried. There is a good balance of sweetness from the malts and a good piney taste. I will buy again I’m sure, but keep passing it up for something new. Another good brew by Boulder Brewing Co. I am "hopping" on the bandwagon.

Pours an orangish amber color with off-white head. Light pine, citrus, and some malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice balance between the resinous hop flavors and the malts.

"I only came here to do two things: kick some ass and drink some beer ... Looks like we’re almost outta beer." Pours a light brown/deep dark orange in color, with a lot of fluffy white head that leaves some decent lacing. The smell benefits from the dry-hopping, with floral hops, a bit of fruity sweetness and a very light malt character. The taste follows suit: citrusy grapefruit and pine with a lot of hops and very little bitterness. Mouthfeel is bubbly and full, not unlike drinking a soda. Light, fruity, crisp, drinkable. This would make an excellent session beer.

Can at home. Pours a slightly hazy Amber with two fingers of head. Aroma is really nice. Citrus and some pine. Great aroma. Really falls flat on the flavor. The can was about 1 month from when I bought it and so I assume it was fresh. But really no flavor drinkable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can at Örebro Ölcafé. Fruity smell with a slight metallic touch. Similar taste. The hops is aged but the base beer is very drinkable.

A bit nutty with strong hop flavor. This would be a really good session beer, being 5.0 abv. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bottle with a enjoy by date of 2/19/2015 (about a month to go) Aroma - not a huge amount of aroma, but it is an APA, not an IPA Appearance - Hazy reddish/orangish color. Not a lot of head Taste - crisp, plenty of carbonation - enjoyable. Palate - not a lot of lingering body feel, however the abv is less than 5%, so my expectations might have been too high originally Overall - Not too bad...it shouldn’t be taken after consuming a very hoppy beer - it could ruin this beer.

Look: pours a dark orange. Very clear. White pillowy head. Smell: very dank. Grassy. Sweet caramel malts. Taste: dank. Sweet caramel malts. Feel: slight dryness. Medium carbonation. Overall: ok beer. Love the aroma but the taste lacks the same gusto. First drank: home 1/4/14 Vintage: best by Mar 19, 2015
