3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 unclebleen (620) - California, USA - APR 19, 2004
Pours a nice copper color with a decent off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is pretty mild...I expected more from a beer that was dry-hopped. I guess I detected some hops although they were quite muted. Flavor is more hoppy than the aroma let on. Nice malt/hop balance. Body and mouthfeel is pleasant and appropriate for the style.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Skip (206) - Indiana, USA - APR 15, 2004
Dry and hoppy, just short of an IPA. Good head formation and lace, but the head is not well-retained. Overall, pretty close to an IPA.
3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 9, 2004
On tap at the Crescent Moon. Good amber color with outstanding aroma. Brussels lace is a spider web of glory on the glass. Hops character powerful and tangy. Excellent pub glasses which have the logo printed on the opposite side of the glass so that you must look through the beer to read the name. I'm a sucker for marketing, just ask my dog, Spuds...
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Hopistotle420 (1178) - Amherst, Massachusetts, USA - APR 4, 2004
Pours a lovely copper amber with a beige, dense foam mostly lasting head which leaves a fine lace pattern. Sweet malt, piney grapefruit nose. Bready malts, thin body, salty, piney, finishing with grapefruit citrus hops. Im not impressed at all. This is lacking balance and real flavor. Dry hopped...yes. Good...no.

Red/orange out of the bottle with floaties (but I may not have let it rest long enought) and a foamy off-white head. Perfumy, floral hop nose. Tangerine, peach, orange, apple with some pine in the finish. Very soft mouthfeel and maybe a little thin, but a very easy drinking, flavorful beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thedm (4773) - Fort Wayne, USA - MAR 1, 2004
This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of fine to large sized off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lace. The body was slightly hazy light brown in color and carbonated. The aroma was mild with caramel and hop notes. The mouth feel was smooth yet tingly, ale like yet hoppy and bitter in the finish. It was very different like a mix between and ale and a IPA. It was OK, but not one I'd seek out again.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hotstuff (3340) - Indiana, USA - FEB 29, 2004
Bottle. This beer formed a small sized ivory head that was creamy with fine-medium sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was transparent and carbonated with an orange-brown hue. The nose was somewhat malty, hoppy, sweet and grassy. The flavor was sweet, lightly bitter and hoppy. The mouthfeel was tingly, hoppy and dry. This was a light-medium textured APA with so-so lacing.
