Formerly known as Hazed and Infused

This unfiltered dry-hopped ale is "hazed" in its natural state and "infused" with a Crystal and Centennial hop blend, creating a flavorful aromatic brew. 12.5 Plato

Hazy in its natural unfiltered state, Hazed is dry-hopped during fermentation infusing big, fresh hop flavor and aroma into the beer without adding bitterness, making Hazed a very approachable hoppy brew. Tapping into the creative spirit that launched Colorado’s First Microbrewery, the brewers at Boulder Beer Company have blended together four different hop varieties to give this amber ale a unique aroma, with just enough yeast for a full mouth feel and a smooth, easy finish. So sit back, relax and get hazed.

Tap at Yard House in Mpls. Pale golden color with a steady, pleasing to the eye froth to it. Aroma has plenty of citrus and hop resin. Taste is heavy on the pine and resin as well. Aftertaste sticks around coating the mouth for a little longer than desired. A good, strong bite on this one. Grassy notes too. Not my favorite but I would order again.

On draft at the Denver Airport. Pours amber with a white head. Citrus, caramel, grass. Not bad but a little too sweet for my liking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Massive citrus aroma jumps out of the bottle upon releasing the cap. Overt aromas of pine and resin. Moderate amounts of citrus and stone ground cracker malts. Mostly clear copper with a full off-white head. Bottom of the bottle has a fair amount of trub to muddle the clarity. Flavor leans toward caramel malts. Slight cardboard. On the back of the palate, there is moderate low citrus.

Bottle at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear amber-gold with a foamy white head. Fairly OK amber pale ale with mildly astringent herbs, orange peel, pine. Medium sweetness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes sweet with lightly toasted pale malts. So so.

the dry hopping is almost cheating, as this brew is way more flavorful and hoppy than your average pale ale. good, worth searching out.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aromas are mellow caramel and citrus. The pour is slightly hazy, light caramel brown, with a slight effervescence. It’s topped by a soapy orange head which reduces down to a thin, filmy layer with a thin ring and light, random lacing. The taste is medium sweet and lightly bitter. The texture is oily thin with a medium / medium light body and a light amount of average buzzy carbonation. Flavors of caramel, nuts, and bitter citrus finish the beer with a light butter and burnt toast aftertaste. It’s very smooth and easy drinking.
