3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: This is a very nice, non offensive Pale ale. It’s got that nice bitter citrus bite in the flavor and a rich earthy aroma. Went down waaay to fast...because it’s damn good. Loved it.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Hazy amber with white head. Hoppy and a little fruity aroma, and tastes a little skunky and a little bitter. Smooth, medium-bodied, a little fruity finish.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle randomly supplied by my father, of whom also sent a few other valley-based brews my way. Many thanks, sir! To snifter, it pours an effervescent amber rust-orange, with which a bubbly whitish head 1 finger in length stood atop. Aromas of sweet peas, Bible paper, cotton, LME, and bosc pear skins. Tastes the same with the addition of floral hops, spearmint, and blue agave syrup. Not by any means a greatly complex pale ale, but this beer certainly brings me back to simpler times: we used to drink these at The Loft in Tucson. I miss those days. Thanks, dad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Monks. Slightly hazy dark amber pour that started with a large off-white head that reduced to lasting foam and sporadic lace. Feels fairly malty at first but the hop notes catch up quickly. Sweet, earthy and spicy. Caramel covered peppers. Tangelo toffees. Juicy sharp amber fruit. Apricot pits. Kumquats. Golden plums. Bamboo shoots. Dates. Blood oranges. Lingering hop bite.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brown with a thin off white head. Centennial hops add a citrus component to the sweet caramel malt. Body definitely has plenty of malt backbone. More tropical than citrus in the finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of citric hops, a bit stale. Flavor has a bit of malt sweetness, somewhat stale hops and citric and piney hops. Medium-bodied. OK, but not fresh enough.
