Formerly known as Hazed and Infused

This unfiltered dry-hopped ale is "hazed" in its natural state and "infused" with a Crystal and Centennial hop blend, creating a flavorful aromatic brew. 12.5 Plato

Hazy in its natural unfiltered state, Hazed is dry-hopped during fermentation infusing big, fresh hop flavor and aroma into the beer without adding bitterness, making Hazed a very approachable hoppy brew. Tapping into the creative spirit that launched Colorado’s First Microbrewery, the brewers at Boulder Beer Company have blended together four different hop varieties to give this amber ale a unique aroma, with just enough yeast for a full mouth feel and a smooth, easy finish. So sit back, relax and get hazed.

You can sure tell the difference in the hops from mojo to hazed and infused. This beer is one great beer too. From the bottle to the glass, every drop is savored. Hops and dry hops and citrus flavors. Drinking it is the only way to find out how good it is. Boulder Brewing gets it right with hazed and infused.

This pours a semi-clear dark amber color with a frothy beige head. The aroma is weak but has the hint of bitter hops. The taste is interesting as its well-balanced, easy drinking, yet has a bitter taste. Finishes with a lingering bitterness on the taste buds. Pretty decent brew but also easily forgettable.

Bottle from gbbf 2015 and drunk at home. Clear amber copper brown colour lasting thin white head. some caramel on the aroma. Some light hop. Grassy hop. Light bitterness. I mean it’s like a not very good UK golden ale. In fact it’s an English bitter. Wow we have come full circle. I started drinking brown UK bitter and now we have the emperors new clothes of a session pale ale that is a UK bitter. Weird. Not the beer weird. Just life is weird. And cyclical. OK bitter.

Well balanced contrast to the "Session IPA" trend. Hop nose hits your right in the face, but without the overwhelming bitterness that seems to be characteristic of other beers. Nicely balanced. Great intro to craft beer or alternative to high alcohol IPA.

Draft pour pint at the lodge. When did hazed and infused stop being a thing? Still listed that way here. Pours an oily copper color with a thin head. Sweet, malt forward aroma. Flavor is a little nutty, caramel, a cool hop finish. Refreshing. Good beer here.
