Pours gold/amber with a caramel white head. Smells of citrus and sweet malt and some spice as well. Taste is sweet malt, bitter hops and citrus with notes of pine and spice. Smooth, good lacing. Not amazing but a good brew.

Bottle. Syrupiness overwhelms this one which otherwise is pretty good. Worth another try to see if this is better

Amber pour with a 2-3 finger, fluffy off white head. Aroma is citrus and fruity hops, toast, a little biscuit and light mineral notes. Flavor is toasty and lightly nutty right up front, a little caramel, then some nice juicy citrus and fruity hop notes, followed by light bready notes and finishing with some fruity, citrus and caramel notes. Light body creamy feel throughout and moderate carbonation. Really good stuff, one of my old go-to beers that I haven’t had in a long time, so nostalgia may have some influence here, but I could still drink a ton of this stuff. Body fits the style perfectly for me.

Bottle: This is a very nice, non offensive Pale ale. It’s got that nice bitter citrus bite in the flavor and a rich earthy aroma. Went down waaay to fast...because it’s damn good. Loved it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Hazy amber with white head. Hoppy and a little fruity aroma, and tastes a little skunky and a little bitter. Smooth, medium-bodied, a little fruity finish.

12 oz. bottle randomly supplied by my father, of whom also sent a few other valley-based brews my way. Many thanks, sir! To snifter, it pours an effervescent amber rust-orange, with which a bubbly whitish head 1 finger in length stood atop. Aromas of sweet peas, Bible paper, cotton, LME, and bosc pear skins. Tastes the same with the addition of floral hops, spearmint, and blue agave syrup. Not by any means a greatly complex pale ale, but this beer certainly brings me back to simpler times: we used to drink these at The Loft in Tucson. I miss those days. Thanks, dad.
