Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – The beer is served a super hazy orange color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head fades quickly at first, but then very slowly, with it leaving a great level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass and a nice foamy film on the top of the brew. Smell – The aroma of the beer is big of a yeasty and orange citrus peel smell. Along with these aromas comes smells of lemon and grass as well as a little bit of a herbal smell. Taste- The taste begins a good showing of an orange and tangerine flavor along with some sour grapefruit tastes. Along with these flavors comes notes of a more bready taste with lots of yeast mixed within. As the taste advances, the brew sours up a bit more with some lemon and more grapefruit coming to the tongue. Along with these flavors comes some grass and herb, leaving a oddly sweet and bitter citrus and hop flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. The creamy body is nice of the yeasty and wheat tastes, in light of all the sweet and bitter citrus, giving more dimension to the brew, all while, the lower carbonation accentuates the thicker and chewier feel nicely. Overall – A decent brew overall with a nice blend of sweet and sour citrus as well as just enough grass and bread to balance it out.

Pint on tap at Neon’s, shared by Sara S. Hazy orange-red gradient in the body. Totally hazy. Head fades to absolutely nothing, no lace. Orange, grapefruit, raspberry fruit aroma. Tart, zesty sweet taste, light yeast influence in the flavor. A pretty rough wit. Medium body. Lighter, kind of soft carbonation, more dry finish. OK wheat beer

Pour on tap at Old Chicago, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight orange peel, hints of grain, grass, slight spice and yeast character, hints of lemon, touch of banana. Taste is a mix of slight banana, clove, lots of sweet orange, lemon, slight earth, finishing fairly sweet but refreshing. Not bad.

On tap at Old Chicago Colorado Springs. Color is a hazy deep burnt orange with mellow carbonation and a nice tall head that falls to a be tight and thin. Aroma of citrus and pepper. It has a medium body with a smooth yet crisp mouth feel. Flavor comes in with wheat, then citrus shows giving a nice orange note and ending with big hop spice that leans on pepper. After taste is clean with the pepper standing out. Overall it a flavorful and refreshing wheat.
