2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ibrew2or3 (4699) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - FEB 1, 2012
12oz bottle pours copper with micro thin off white head. The aroma is grainy malts, wheated malts and a sense of sweet blueberry nuanced by table sugar. The taste is similar with a tiny beer oasis of grainy malts and wheat like beer notes amid a sea of sugary malts rolling into blueberry Kool-Aid (TM) with nanometer wide ribbons of fruity tartness around the edges. I don’t know. You must have to be in the mood for this “beer”

Bottle:   Clear amber, moderate foamy white head, few streams of bubbles, light lacing.   Pale nose of
wheat malt (slightly mealy) and a very faint Blueberry.   I thought that when I got this I was going to perhaps
experience the same Blueberry level as the Buffalo Bills Stout or the Marin Bluebeery, but nope.   What Blueberry
is there is very minor.   Pale wheaty sweetness on the tongue, with an ever so slight hint of Blueberry.   For
a wheat beer its fairly light, and as a fruit beer its almost non-existant.   Not bad, but a little dull.
Finishes too quick, but tiz fairly clean.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 esjaygee (2496) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2011
Clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma of mild blueberry, malt and grains. Taste of malt, mild blueberry and light corn. Hi carbonation and more like Kinda Bland than Kinda blue.

(draft 7/10/10). Red/copper color, with light cloudiness. Medium off white head. Light wheat and berry aroma and flavor. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Thin/slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Good lacing.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 SpencerH (33) - Maryland, USA - SEP 2, 2011
Tastes like a wheat beer but more sweetness. I can’t pick up alot of blueberry, and what I do kind of tastes candy like "not natural". Leaves a little undisireable build up on the tounge. Wouldn’t go out of my way to drink this beer.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet of wheat, caramel malts, blueberries, and only a hint of hops. Flavor is sweet up front as well with the wheat and blueberries and a hint of citrus hops.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 otakuden (1490) - Vero Beach, USA - AUG 24, 2011
Appearance: clear copper and ambers under a sooth angel food cake head – cakey white and bubbly.
Nose: very faint fresh blueberries, more flesh than skin. Quickly leads into white breads with a bit of blueberry skin bitterness.
Palate: blueberries, angel food cake, and white bread. Faint residual sweetness on top of the tongue.
Final Thoughts: not too shabby but not too great. The Sweetwater Blue still remains the best blueberry beer I have tasted so far.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ughsmash (5623) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Bottled. Poured medium orange with a slightly pinkish white head.. looked fairly good in the glass. The aroma picked up sweet blueberries (a little too sweet at times) over very nice tangy lemon and wheat.. some blueberry meat beneath. The flavor found tangy blueberry skin, lemon zest, and wheat upfront, with pale and somewhat cardboardey malts beneath.. finished with dried blueberries, earthy wheat, and tacky pale malts. Lighter-bodied and prickly on the palate.. dry in the end, but in the artificial sweetener-kinda way.. drinkable, but not really enjoyable.
