Fuzzy white head. Pours a pinkish copper color with next to no aroma. Some grain and that’s about it. Flavor lacks blueberry, but is sweet with some grain. Not one I’d want too many of.

Draught at Yia Yia’s in Lincoln. I guess I was expecting more. Pale ale like beer with some taste of blueberry. Other than that, nothing to striking or impressive. Somewhat refreshing for a hot day.

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of wheat, artificial blueberry, malt, and some hops. Poured amber/orange in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished a lot but still lasted throughout. Slightly hazy. Sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of wheat, yeast, malt, and barely a hint of blueberry. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Sweet wheat and malt finish. Lots of wheat, not too much else.

Bomber from Capone’s. Pours deep coppery with ruby pink highlights and 2 fingers of white clingy head. Nose is caramel malt, mild blueberry, some fainy earthy notes. Tastes malty, with mild bluberry, mild hops, somewhat cloying and sweet, and not terribly complex. OK, but just OK.

OBF ’10. One of the best beers I have ever smelled. Sounds weird but seriously oh yum. Unfortunately the taste doesn’t quite live up to it. Hints of blue berry fruityness, but nothing really forward. A sweet golden.

On tap at the moon. Amber color, no head. Smells more like beer than blueberries. Tastes like an amber ale with couple blueberries thrown in, I guess a plus is that it doesn’t have tons of extract.

(bottle) Red-copper body with a small, egg-shell white head. Aroma is mildly spicy, sweet, with yeast and only a faint hint of blueberries. Medium bodied, slightly sticky. Not overpoweringly sweet like many fruit beers - more like some blueberries just soaked in the batch for a while. The blueberry is very faint and most noticeable on the finish; not as prevalent as the bottle might lead you to believe, but I like it. More like a regular wheat with just a little blueberry kick, but real blueberry, not candy. Otherwise there is some faint bitterness, bready malts, and spices.

RSRIZZO (1679) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 25, 2010
22oz bottle poured into a shaker at 44°. Color is a bright gold with just a faint haze. Carbonation and is good with a small white head. Aroma a very faint sour fruit scent. Light body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is light with some malt, a hint of fruit and then a touch of sour. After taste is mildly bitter with some white pepper. This is an ok summer brew but there is no discernable blueberry flavor.

Decent beer but I don’t get any blueberry. Nothing in the aroma and just a bit of tartness in the taste. I expect a little bit somewhere but it wasn’t happening for me.

Pours orangish golden with a fully receding off-white head. Notes of toffee, berry, sweet malt, honey, syrup. Medium bodied and sweet with lively carbonation.
