Commercial Description:
Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

On tap at Cambridge Common, Cambridge MA, October 2009. Clear gold colour. Strong clean and hoppy aroma. Lots of grapefruit in the flavour. Good depth. Solid IPA.

Pours a crystal clear straw yellow. Creamy white head leaves good lacing with strong staying power. Aroma strong of citrus hops. Slightly yeasty. Very strong hop flavor. Bitter hits right away. Grapefruit. Lacking in malt. Thin on the palate with harsh carbonation. Stings a bit. Not bad if you want a bottle of hop juice. Not much different then all other IPAs. Doesn’t really stand out. Still drinkable, but better can be had at the price point.

Aroma - very floral, citrus; Appearance - hazy copper, fluffy head, excellent lacing; Flavor - faint malt front, quickly overpowering hop back, mild citrus finish; Palate - slight crispness, good body; Overall - sold IPA, somewhat basic flavor though built quite well.

12-oz bottle. Clear light golden pour. Three finger white head. Orange peel with hints of something like vanilla in the aroma. Maybe caramel. Creamy texture.Caramel malts clearly apparent up front. But the sweetness lingers a little too long on the palate making it a little too sticky for an IPA. Grassy bitter finish.

A disappointing IPA. Too much of a caramel maltiness takes the stage and overshadows the hoppy bitterness I crave. It is a little sweet with a soapy finish. Forgettable.

Very smooth to my palate. Love the smell, and while the hops are definitely there, they don’t kill the rest of the flavors of citrus. Finishes clean.

I really enjoyed this beer. It has a lasting aftertaste that makes you want to take another sip. It has a great color to it with and citrus zest in it. I keep it stocked in my man lair fridge.

A good IPA, but a little more bitter than I like them. Mojo is dependable and will do in a pinch.
