| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 30, 2010 Smells alarmingly like a Belgian rather than an IPA (I prefer more aromatic IPAs). Not much carbonation and tastes bitter for the sake of bitterness. Reminds me of a not-so-successful homebrew. arrogantb (809), Denver, Colorado, USA

I had one of these last night and I have to up my score. The taste was a very pleasing yet subtle citrus flavor. The smell was much better than I remembered also. This beer is definitely a good IPA.
12oz bottle poured int a pint glass. The color was yellow and the head was a healthy white. The beer did not have much of a smell at all. The taste was very balanced with a little fruitiness and malts coming through. No pine flavor in this one. Very decent beer but does not compare well to other IPA’s in my opinion.

Aroma is malty, fresh and slightly hoppy. Flavor is also malty and hoppy with a smooth & creamy mouthfeel and a clean finish that had a nice bitter bite to it. sandberglar (41), Scottsdale, USA

Smells like citrus and malts, not bad. Meduim bodied, tastes malty and has a medium bitter finish. An alright/good IPA, nothing mind blowing. Savvy1982 (372), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 24, 2010 Bottle, from my North Dakota beer run. Pours pale amber, with a thin white head that reduces to a skim in less time than I expected, good lacing. Nose is apricot, some light citrus, yeast, overripe fruit, hop pellets. Flavor is mild citrus, bitterness seems a bit much for both the malt bill, and the lack of evident hop flavors in the palate. Poorly-balanced, and oddly yeasty. Pass. kevd193213 (544), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA

Great taste of peppery and citrus hops. Medium body with a lasting hoppy finish. Great, affordable & accessible. rader58 (224), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2010 Pours a nice, slightly cloudy, light honey color. Aroma grass, flowers and grapefruit. Taste is bitter and sour with a sweet finish. Flavors are floral hops with a grapefruit finish. Quite an enjoyable IPA with a new and different twist.
