Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Aroma was great, could smell the hops and Malt right from the pour. No head to speak of but color was equal to other pale ales. Had some aftertaste to it but I would get this one again if I needed a fill bottle at the beer store for a empty spot in my own created six pack.

Mayhaps a bit too smooth of an IPA. This golden drink has some good piney and orange hop scents. The body is quite creamy. Nice bitter herbal taste with a real solid malt base. Only a mildly bitter finish. Just too smooth.

A clear, yellow beer with a big white head and a hefty hop hit. My smeller is shot and I don’t normaly pick up subtle aromas. In this case the smell of an herb was there. There was an herbal taste in the mouth after the first swallow. It was there again with the first burp. Must be the amarillo hops. The head was gone after the second swallow.

Gold w a fluffy and creamy head. Great nose - lots of pine and some citrus. Tastes like.. Well.. Its got lots of resin :) A bit of funky orange at the end.

Nice IPA. Well balanced for style with big hop aroma and malt characters. Crysatal malts make for nice orange color and adds to malt taste. I also like the hop choice in this beer for finishing, big aroma, sense of smell starts the palate before even drinking. Well crafted and true to an American IPA style. Highly recommend this ale.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2005 A clear orange beer with a white head. The aroma is extremely hoppy, grassy, and fruity. The flavor is hoppy and OK bitter, somewhat malty, with a dry end.

Bottled: Clear golden coloured. White small head. Hops and flowers in the nose. Some herbal sweetness and hops in the flavour. Is well hopped in the end with a medium lasting bitterness on the palate.

Bottle pours a golden, large white foamy head, wonderful lacing, with extremely light carbonation.   Sharp hop nose, citrusy and bready.   Smells like a good American Strong or Double IPA.   Smooth, yet fiery, hop bitterness on first sip.   Slightly malty, but not enough for my tastes.   Strong citrus peel presense from start to finish.   Medium body and mouthfeel.   Finishes with a strong citrus backing, fresh hop bitterness, and even a bit of tobacco.   My only gripe is that it could stand to be chewier/maltier.   Thanks goes out to TAR for the trade!

I was really shocked by this brew, much better than i had expected. The other brews from this company really lacked the depth to impress me. Pours a nice amber with a medium longer lasting white head that leaves some lacing behind. Excellent citrus hops in the aroma, very crisp and powerful. Taste is well balanced with a good dose of light dry malts finished of by a big hop finish. Quite impressed with this new IPA appearing on the shelves, although now that TG IPA is in six packs this stands no chance of becoming my "go to" IPA

Nice fruity and hoppy nose, oranges and citrus. Light orange body with a small white head. Medium bitterness in the flavor, ends kind of dryish. Decent IPA.
