3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2008 I discovered MoJo quite by accident, but it has become my "house" beer. The amarillo hops give it a very defined citrus flavor. Almost grapefruit. It is extremely refreshing, well balanced with the malt, and just a wonderful hop finish. It has quickly become one of my all time favorite brews.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2010 Brewtopia 2004: Hazy orange with a small white head. Pine and citrus aroma, sharp mouthfeel. Starts off bitter and then gets more bitter from there. Robust ending, juicy texture, soft carbonation.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This one smells like a sweet, robust IPA, and has the good looks to go with it. Nice hoppy aroma, great hoppy flavor. A nice splash of grapefruits and citrus in the finish makes this a nice bitter beer, and it is quite well balanced too. Smooth, full mouthfeel.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2012 (original rate in 2004 - update to reflect current tastes - one dimensional and overly sweet, but does have some decent citrus notes - alcohol is a bit too apparent - meh, itís okay) This is a pretty solid IPA - good head and impressive lace - spicy grapefruit nose - crisp yet creamy - well balanced malt/hop ratio - citrus combines with a bit of caramel nicely - top notch.

Tap at Brewtopia, Good nose, sweet orange citrus. Yellow color. Bitter sweet flavors. Grapefruit orange flavors with a toffee background. Sticky creamy on the palate. Very tasty.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brewtopiaí04. This one survived the Rockies Brewing johnny-box disaster! Cloudy; little head. Big flowery aromas, lots of C/Amarillo hoppiness. Grapefruit. I detected some apricot notes as well. Definitely holds its own in a sea of better known IPAs.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2008 On Tap @ Blind Tiger. Nice floral, citrus aroma with a thin head. Of course itís not as big as the Mojo Risin’ but very quaffable. Nice hop bite and very smooth. IMHO, as good an IPA thatís out there.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2005 duvel tulip glass: initial aroma is of any other dry, citric IPA; pretty and expected. however, itís another good brew! amber body with off-white, creamy, soapy, and slightly airy head. hoppy; citrus, pine. sweet, smooth, and lemony to dry, crisp, slightly bitter, and lemony. nice creamy palate with just enough sweet and doughy maltiness to accompany. this is delicious! of the "dry and citric IPAs" iíve had, this takes the cake thus far. this isnít over-the-top, itís a solid IPA and i like! UPDATE 2/1/05: english pint / ever since gumballhead those amarillo hops have given me, yup, a tad bubblegum sweetness. but again, itís dry, citrusy. still good, but not that great. downrated.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Must be getting to like IPAs. This poured amber with a white head. Nothing special. The nose was characteristically hoppy/grapefruit. Body was a bit light but decent. Flavor was sweet, citric, crisp, clean, and refreshing. Quite a good IPA.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Solid IPA. Very good on itís own or in conjunction with other brews. Mojo has an average aroma and appearance, but the hops flavor and malt structure are very sophisticated. "Drinkability" is ridiculously high and burnout potential medium-low. I put this in my rotation over the past 6 months and it has now earned a permanent place. Awesome.
