COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Golden copper. Sweet hoppy aroma, some cascades, but also exotic fruit-tangerine. Solid malt backbone, with good touch of caramel. Great hop flavor, loads of exotic fruit, tangerine and nectarine. This is excellent.

Bitter, sweet aroma. Not much head, but nice lacing. Copper color. Full body, pretty malty for a basic IPA. Fresh, very hoppy taste. Citrus balance. Slight roastiness, good balance with sweetness. Finish is still hoppy, this is where you feel some bitterness. Very long finish, canít wait for the burps! Oh, there was one. Nice!

UPDATED: APR 29, 2012 Poured orange with 50% topping of bubbly head. Nice fruity aroma, followed with the promised grapefruity goodness, but without that sour pucker factor you sometimes get in an American IPA. This rocks.

Nice amber color, small but long lived off white head that left behind a decent lace.Citrus aroma with a decent hop presence and mildly malty side. The flavor is somewhat sweet and hoppy up front then it changes quickly to a medium bitter grapefruit taste with a nice mild hop finish.Very nice brew with plenty of flavor, and the hops never get to over the top but are nicely done. Thanks go to Whaleman for sending this fine brew my way.

Too fruity for me, but still manages a good balance of flavours. After the initial sweet shock, I really like the bitter lingering aftertaste. Actually, that combo might actually make this brew last longer than most.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2008 I discovered MoJo quite by accident, but it has become my "house" beer. The amarillo hops give it a very defined citrus flavor. Almost grapefruit. It is extremely refreshing, well balanced with the malt, and just a wonderful hop finish. It has quickly become one of my all time favorite brews.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2010 Brewtopia 2004: Hazy orange with a small white head. Pine and citrus aroma, sharp mouthfeel. Starts off bitter and then gets more bitter from there. Robust ending, juicy texture, soft carbonation.

This one smells like a sweet, robust IPA, and has the good looks to go with it. Nice hoppy aroma, great hoppy flavor. A nice splash of grapefruits and citrus in the finish makes this a nice bitter beer, and it is quite well balanced too. Smooth, full mouthfeel.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2012 (original rate in 2004 - update to reflect current tastes - one dimensional and overly sweet, but does have some decent citrus notes - alcohol is a bit too apparent - meh, itís okay) This is a pretty solid IPA - good head and impressive lace - spicy grapefruit nose - crisp yet creamy - well balanced malt/hop ratio - citrus combines with a bit of caramel nicely - top notch.

Tap at Brewtopia, Good nose, sweet orange citrus. Yellow color. Bitter sweet flavors. Grapefruit orange flavors with a toffee background. Sticky creamy on the palate. Very tasty.
