1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle.
A- Citrus, spruce, leaves, grass.
A- Light amber body, hazy liquid, minimal head.
T- Very bitter, strong hop tones, very subtle citrus notes.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, long bitter finish.
O- One of my least favorite IPA’s very bitter and a long lasting finish makes this more than undesirable for me.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap. Pours a clear light amber. A bit stale on the nose. Good bite, very bitter. Could be better balance but I like the bite.

On tap @ Old Chicago, golden amber color and small white head; no real aroma to speak of; very piney and a little floral up front with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste; fairly full bodied and creamy texture;

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slight retention and very little lacing. Smells of hops and slight malt. Tastes maltier then I expected with a decent amount of hops. Short lasting bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear and crisp light gold, with one finger of head that dissipates quickly. Smells of sweet malts, crisp slightly citrusy hops, appears to be very well balanced. Taste is very similar to the smell. I get sweet malts with earthy citrusy hops. The alcohol is hidden very well. Very well balanced. Overall, this is a very drinkable IPA, tastes almost sessionable. Great IPA that I would buy again!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Advent beer #9 - pretty gold color. Nose is orange/lemon. Sip emphasizes the peel portion of the citrus. Rye-ish malt presence. Fairly bitter won’t won’t rip my face off. Clearly balanced. A good to great IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is big on citrus, with lots of orange, mango, and pineapple. Additionally, there are softer pine and caramel undertones. The taste brings out much more pine and grapefruit. The tropical fruit impressions are still noticeable, but serve more as compliments to the main flavors. The aftertaste is lighter and consists of pine. The body is medium, while giving a sticky texture. There is plenty of carbonation in here. This is a solid IPA.

Mojo is close to my favorite easy-to-find IPA. Hoppy but the citrus tones are really pronounced so it doesn’t feel over-hopped.
