3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
First, I really like this one. Could have more aroma, but the hops pack a bitter punch thatís almost equaled by the sweet malts. The bitterness is high in quantity, but only middling in quality, a little flinty and with a harsh herbal note. Resinous and chewy finish. In this increasingly crowded field, this big IPA is being overtaken by many. Still worth seeking out.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap. Pours clear and amber. Nose is hoppy. Flavor is citrus. Hops are deep and bitter. Very nice beer.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle. This could be outdated based on past experience with this particular liquor stores single serve selection. But this beer lacks qualities of an IPA. I would consider it an APA compared to most of the Hoppy genre.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Classic IPA with nice malty notes on the front. Finishes with clean burst of hops but not too dry. Very sessionable for an IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this on nitro yesterday afternoon at Stouts. Very nice to have an IPA on nitro, really thick and creamy white head on this over a darkish yellow pour. Smooth, velvety and hoppy. Enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to half-pint glass. Looks decent; light though. A completely transparent lighter gold with white lacing. Smells of hops and pale malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A clean, available IPA that Iíd say is no-frills (at least by todayís standards), but consistently solid.

Boulder Beer makes a good IPA in the early American craft brewing style. Strong hop aroma and taste but brought down due to overly resinous hops used. I wish that boulder beer would refine this recipe to us lower AA hops but in greater quantities to maintain the IBUs.

Tropical aroma. Piney with orange peal.
Very clear golden color with good carbonation.
Good mouth feel with the lingering fruity flavors
Poured out of a 12oz bottle with a month to go on the enjoy by date.
