COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Bottle. Pours clear amber. Big citrus nose and huge hop bite up front. Medium mouthfeel, finishes clean and bitter. Decent malt balance. Quite decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 12-9-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a clear golden amber colored beer with a two finger white head. The head has a great level of retention slowly fading over time to give a great level of lacing. Smell- The aroma is of a bready malt and a caramel sweetness. Mixed with these smells are aromas of grapefruit hop as well as a lighter pine hop aroma. Taste – The taste starts out as a bready flavor mixed with a light caramel sweetness. Right at the start there is a good grapefruit hop flavor. A light pine hop joins the taste soon after the initial taste, with the caramel fading in intensity. As the taste goes on from the middle to the end the grapefruit and pine really picks up in intensity. A very resinous hop flavor dominates the taste at the end where it leaves a bitter hop flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is a little bit on the creamier side with a carbonation level that is rather average. The average level of carbonation is good for keep it drinkable while the body accentuates the resinous flavors quite well. Overall – A nice biting and bitter , but drinkable IPA. While not the smoothest, if you want a good hop flavor this is a good one to go to.

Pours a deep, dark golden color with a nice, white laced head. Citrusy aroma with a nice, thick hoppy finish. Tangy taste. Hops and grapefruit notes. Dry, tart finish. Really nice IPA!

Fad: På Maiden Publick House i Big Sur til en lækker gang fish and chips. Dejlig frisk Ipa, lidt duft af citrus men den blegner dog lidt i forhold til Sculpin min kone drikker. Fin øl der bestemt er drikbar.

I get it. Mojo is a good IPA that happens to come from the hop mecca that is Colorado. I wouldn’t blame you for disregarding this ale. However, it would be unwise to do so. All considered, Mojo is an excellent IPA. The grapefruit smell is superb. Yeah, I know... Grapefruit aroma is nothing new for West Coast style IPA. Still, Mojo’s grapefruit scent is big, fresh, and clear. There are also hints of pine, lemon, and sweet malt. This ale is clearly hop-forward, but the taste is balanced perfectly. The bitter, citrusy start quickly changes into a smooth, malty middle, and finally, back to a bitter, crisp finish. Herbal and lightly juicy, Mojo ought to please most hop heads.

Clear amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, and toffee. Taste is the same with a nice clean bitterness that lingers into the aftertaste.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a stem glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of bread and grassy hops. Significant carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Flavors of straw and grassy hops, grains, burnt malts, bitter roots. Overall big, bold, flavorful with some bitter notes.

Draft at Denver airport. Very light color for an IPA. Aroma nearly absent. Good bitter up front. Not very complex. Tastes like Amarillo all the way through. Not bad, not great. Would have it again.
