Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

12oz bottle with an Enjoy by date of Nov 14th. Dicey, but grabbed a single anyway, based on the ratings. Pour is a clear golden/amber color with 1 finger of white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit and caramel. Mouth is quite unique and not very enjoyable. Not a lot of hop bitterness, malty and strong notes of pine resin and....veggies. Not impressed at all. In fact, I poured the rest out. Maybe I will find a fresher one later and give it another shot.

God aroma, sitrus og karamell. God smak, søt så bitter. Smaken sitter godt i munnen og holder seg. Passe karbonert. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Appearance was deep gold, with a good head and decent lacing. Aroma of fruits and grass, earth, and fresh hops. Taste is good caramel malts, some orange, and a bit of grapefruit. Palate was smooth, almost syrupy. Overall pretty good.

Aroma from this darker than usual beer is oranges and pine with a fair dose of flowers. Taste is a little maltier than I expected, and almost creamy. The bitterness kicks in at the end and you also get some sweetness mixed with ripe fruits. A little different IPA I would say, but also good. It’s nice that you come across some variations on this neverending exploration of the beer world.

Mostly drunk and exhausted in the Denver airport. I’m at the high end eatery called Chef Jimmy in Terminal A cu it was the only place open late so I took the train here. Sleeping in the toilets tonight. Apricot, light rrgf, that’s about all I can pull out of the smell. Kinda creamy, light spicy hops, some citrus, pretty plain but it seems CO likes its aggressive less gentle hops. Pungent and non fruity. Not as good as whatever IPA I had during the delayed flight crushfest.
