Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Aroma from this darker than usual beer is oranges and pine with a fair dose of flowers. Taste is a little maltier than I expected, and almost creamy. The bitterness kicks in at the end and you also get some sweetness mixed with ripe fruits. A little different IPA I would say, but also good. It’s nice that you come across some variations on this neverending exploration of the beer world.

Mostly drunk and exhausted in the Denver airport. I’m at the high end eatery called Chef Jimmy in Terminal A cu it was the only place open late so I took the train here. Sleeping in the toilets tonight. Apricot, light rrgf, that’s about all I can pull out of the smell. Kinda creamy, light spicy hops, some citrus, pretty plain but it seems CO likes its aggressive less gentle hops. Pungent and non fruity. Not as good as whatever IPA I had during the delayed flight crushfest.

Bomber to tulip. Pours clear deep gold. Good white head dissipated to ring with decent lacing. Aroma of grass, earth, orange, spice, herb, and fresh hops. Taste is good caramel bready malts, some orange, and a smooth bitter finish with grapefruit, orange zest and some floral qualities. Mouthfeel is smooth, almost syrup-like texture. Moderate carbonation.

Pours a clear copper with a small diminishing white head. Lovely aroma of hops (citrus and floral) and tea. Nice unique flavour follows the aroma. Very well balanced, a pleasant taste and goes down smooth.
