Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.

Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish.

Interesting and complex aroma, maltier than I’d expect, not much citrus like some other IPAs. The flavor is bitter without much balance, with a lingering bitterness that takes a long time to clear and leaves you rubbing your tongue on the roof of your mouth. It tastes like perhaps this is an older or mishandled bottle due to the lack of hop aroma and overwhelming bitterness.

Can at Brewers beer bar. Slightly hazy golden thick white foam. Aroma faint, fruity, slight wood and caramel. Taste is similar, light, caramel, low bitterness and some fruit and wood. Decent but to taste explosion

Reviewed 2/23/12 (7.2% ABV) Pale colored IPA, citrus hop aroma balanced with malt fragrance. Pleasant taste matches the aroma. 3.5 out of 5 stars. Video review: https://youtu.be/6XzP6Aol12k

Can at home. Pours a golden yellow with one finger of white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruit with some malt. Flavor follows. Nice malt backbone with lots of grapefruit and citrus. Some greasiness and wet hay. Medium bodied. Really nice IPA.

Bottle at home while visiting Jacksonville. Pours amber gold with a white head. Light caramel, over ripe fruit aroma of peach, mango... Medium body, medium carbonation. Initially I thought this was going to be way too sweet, but thankfully the caramel, fruity sweetness subsides quickly leaving pine, lemon, orange rind grapefruit bitterness and it finishes pretty dry. There’s a touch of booze here too. Decent.

Can at Örebro Ölcafé. Fruity and light hoppy with citrus and oranges. Similar taste. The hops has faded and it has a best before set to May 2015. Was probably better a couple of months ago.

Past its best by date by a few weeks, aroma shows as its b vitamin like herbal. Same in taste but resiny grassy planty. Some citrus, and caramel malts, bitter grapefruit finish. Some what solid, but this one is weathered or beat up somehow. A bit off and yeasty. Almost vegetably.in flavor. Had this long ago and remember not liking it, I like it a little more now but still not a good experience. Maybe just old poorly stored/transferred bottles. Amarillo didn’t hold up well in this although its pungent almost its just off, stale etc.

On tap at DEN airport. Not much aroma, but a real nice taste. Hoppy and a bit sweet. Very smooth for 7.2. Really enjoyed this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2015 Nitro: Slightly hazed golden amber body. Creamy white head, lasts forever, insane lacing thanks to the nitrogen. Earthy & weedy aroma, lightly floral & a bit of dankness. Light citrus. Flavor is more fruity. Sweet nectarine, sugar glazed grapefruit, fruity floral notes & mild perfumy hops. Decent.

Burk från ölcaféet Örebro. Bärnstenfärgad öl. Doft av stall och färsk humle. Kryddig stallig smak med inslag av peppar, färsk humle och lite anis. Bra tilltagen efterbeska.
