jeff789 (32), USA Apr 5, 2008 Very pale in color for an IPA, a clear light orangish, A bit hard to understand whats going on here. A hit of citrusy hops that quickly fades into a dry finish... I guess they accomplished what they were going for... Finishes much like a very hoppy pilsener... i want a bit more malts to back up my IPA’s... Good flavor while it lasts, just dont swallow if you dont want the thin dry finish... Unfortunantly, thats not how i drink my beer... I love IPA’s, this was not my favorite...
luv2brew (141), Chesterfield, Virginia, USA Jul 5, 2008 Soft white head that diminishes rather quickly, but this one is a hop lovers dream. A nice bouquet of hops on the nose and this one is all hops no doubt. a healthy dose of sorghum like sweetness in the middle ties everything together and of course the bitterness at the end ties everything together. maniac (1886), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jul 3, 2008 On tap at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 07/01/2008. Clear light amber body with a medium frothy white head. Sweet light caramel with citrus and floral hops. Sweet citrus and resiny hop flavor with a mild sticky bitter finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. nathan30533 (15), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA Jul 2, 2008 Pours very yellow/gold. The taste is good but the kick is there for your regular IPA. I chose a 2 for the palate becuase I am not impressed with the kick and the bit of burn that it leaves to the mouth. Not your smoothest IPA but an overall good one. rustychiles (342), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 1, 2008 Pours a see through golden color with a small white head. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus. Flavor is hop bitterness, citrus and just enough sweetness to balance it out. Nice IPA. jjuf1853 (170), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle pours a clear, golden yellow with a medium sized foamy white head with great lacing along the side of the glass. Nice aroma of piney hops and citrus. Flavor is full of hop flavor, with a dry, bitter finish and a lasting aftertaste.
