3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Most interesting ipa I’ve had to date. At first, seems overly mild, but then rounds out. I honestly can’t wrap myself on this brew. Intriguing points 100%

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours clear copper with one finger white head. Pine aroma with sweet grapefruit. Slick mouthfeel with very little carbonation. Sweet up front with no real hop punch. Flat, bit of a dirty dry finish. Not as bad as Mojo but really not good. Not an old bottle either, as it says Enjoy By July 2013 and it is only April of the same year. Disappointed for sure.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle pour clear yellow with red hues. Nose of citrus hops. Initial taste grapefruit, floral, then sweetness. Slightly flat mid palate followed by bitterness and alcohol. Back to the citrus for the aftertaste.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle. Nice rich gold color with moderate white head. Solid lacing. Unremarkable nose. Soapy mouthfeel with a vaguely interesting citrus/grassy/malty finish. Slightly sweet and no indication of the 10% abv. Stegmaier with more alcohol. Disappointing.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle into snifter, typical clear golden medium dark color, quickly dissipating head. The aroma was a little soapy to me and the aftertaste matches a touch too...but for 10% ABV, I can forgive a little soapyness. Not awesome, but far from bad. Again, the ABV saves it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From tasting notes. Bottle. Pours gold and a small, white head. Bready aroma with grapefruit and grassy hops. Somewhat sweet and fruity flavor with grapefruit and grassy hops. Sweeter finish with a herbal note.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours rusty-amber with a quick white head. Nose is the usual IPA: crisp, bitter hops and some apple-leaning sweet malt, with a touch of booze. Flavor is also what you’d expect for a DIPA, with an odd extra mineral-like flavor I can’t quite place, though it doesn’t really retract from it. Quick finish, but hides the 10% well. Not unique, but yet another solid DIPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Dexters. Served on nitro. Slightly hazy orange-tan. Steady creamy white/off-white head. Citrus pine aroma. Similar taste, with the body creamed out and nitrofied. Some noticeable alcohol, which is acceptable for a 10% beer. The nitro twists around the beer, giving it an English feel. Cleanish malt backbone with some grapefruity, dry hop action. Pretty balanced, not so syrupy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 14, 2013 Pours a clear golden brown from the bottle with bubbly off-white head that dissipates to leave good lacing. Aroma of heavy citrus and grapefruit from the hops with a nice caramel pale malt back. Taste follows with a funky bittersweet finish. Big and in your face but not crazy until you drink a few.
