COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Only 120 precious barrels were brewed, adding more than half a ton of extra malt and twice the amount of Amarillo hops, so prepare your self for a full sensory explosion. The double dry-hop addition elevates the grapefruit-like aroma and flavor to an outrageous intensity, while the added malt raises the alcohol level from 7% all the way to 10% by volume.

650ml bomber bottle poured an amber color with big off-white head and loads of lacing. Aroma of citrus and lightly roasted malts and a bit of alcohol. Taste is big citrus hop bitterness with malty sweetness and a hint of alcohol burn. Heavy body and mild carbonation. This is one bold flavourful DIPA that is certainly worth sampling.

A: Light copper/amber body with a healthy white head with lots of lacing... S: Blast of grapefruit courtesy of tons of amarillo hops... light bready malt character... could use a bit more complexity to up it into the next tier. T: Grapefruit hops up front... sweet malts... slightly metallic... the alcohol is not hidden too well M: Light bodied... smooth, up until a slightly metallic slightly watery finish... O: A good smelling, decent tasting beer is hurt by the alcohol screaming through... id have another, but id prefer something else

12oz. bottle. Just finished drinking it and am pleased with the outcome. Orange amber hue with a tight white head which disappeared as it sat. Tastes like any good IPA should. Bitter, and citrusy, with a moderate mouthfeel. I would recomend this to people who like hops and are wanting to try something new.

Pours a three finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Clear amber color. Nose is light hops and flavor is malty sweet with the hops balancing. Nice DIPA. Pricey at $4.10 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, MA. Best by Aug 2011, really?? at 10% abv, I would hope it would keep.
