3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours cloudy orange with a tall white head. Pine and citrus hops in the nose. Very resiny sweet body without any excess alochol present. This was actually a really solid IIPA, very strong but never felt rough on the palate.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
i paired this beer with some delightful mexican creations of my own making, and i must say the combo was, pardon the phrase, intoxicating. the appearance was cloudy orange-yellow, with some creamy lacy off white head. the aroma was lots of grapefruit, pine, orange zest, lemon juice, and some light bready malts. the flavor is lots of pine and grapefruit hello amarillo hops, and then some lemon and biscuit malt round off the smoothness. the alcohol isnt present in the taste, but while youíre pondering the bitterness thatís remaining on your tongue, you begin to realize that your head feels slightly more disconnected than it did an hour ago. very nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Pours crystal clear light orange, lasting medium sized head. Low on the carbonation, I like that. Aroma is tons of grapefruit hops, light sweetness, bready yeast. Taste is moderate fruity hops backed up with some serious lasting bitterness, mild but definitive. Light caramel malt. Alcohol is hid very well for this style and abv. Lower carbonation yields to a smooth, lightly creamy texture. In summary, a very well balanced IIPA with some subtleties that are rare in the style.

3.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is potent to the nth degree.
The flavor is tranparent - grapefruit to pine, with little lingering in between. The front of this beer yields so much promise, but the end is so chewy that it is unfavorable. The caramel sweet yum gives way to a choking on a pine cone. As an experiment - this is a curiosity, but it just isnít somthing Iíd request repeatedly.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours golden w/ a medium sized, semi creamy froth. Full ring residual lacing. Aroma of bright grapefruit citrus rind. Medium full nectar w/ soft and creamy residual effers. Huge hopsy citrus trees form the general disposition here w/ a moderate malt backbone. Theres a citrus tree in every bottle. A mild sweetness factor is not abused but makes it very tastey indeed. Suculent and addictive. This mild sweetness is like a candy necklace kind of flavor, not thick and cloying. Very interesting. Cramel, leather, vanilla bean, only slight grapefruit (more rind), candy necklace. The finish is well bittered w/ asprin that digs in and lingers. Very rich but not overdone. Well balanced and the alcohol is well hidden. Highly recommended.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Beer is clear, medium amber. Head is small, white, frothy. Diminishes into a ring quickly.

The aroma is malty with moderate notes of cookie, caramel, toasted grain; Hoppy with heavy notes of resin/pine, grapefruit oil, light-to-moderate lemon zest and black tea.

The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately-to-heavily bitter, lightly acidic with a long, moderately bitter, lightly sweet finish.

The body is medium, the texture is watery-to-velvety and the carbonation is lively.

Hop forward, but has nice varied malt and hop profiles.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit). Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. Very simple and straightforward. Decent sweet/bitter balance and pretty nicely hidden alcohol (wouldnít have guessed 10%) are probably its best traits. The name is amusing in its irony, since the combination of high alcohol and hops is much more likely to make a manís unit as useless as overcooked spaghetti. It might make a womanís mojo rise, though.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours golden with slight off head which laces as you drink. aroma tangerines and pineapple with some sweet malt. taste is much the same as the aroma advertises that fades into biscuit malt dryness then a straight citrus bitterness. not bad not as aggressive as i like my dipas.
