COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Only 120 precious barrels were brewed, adding more than half a ton of extra malt and twice the amount of Amarillo hops, so prepare your self for a full sensory explosion. The double dry-hop addition elevates the grapefruit-like aroma and flavor to an outrageous intensity, while the added malt raises the alcohol level from 7% all the way to 10% by volume.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit). Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. Very simple and straightforward. Decent sweet/bitter balance and pretty nicely hidden alcohol (wouldn’t have guessed 10%) are probably its best traits. The name is amusing in its irony, since the combination of high alcohol and hops is much more likely to make a man’s unit as useless as overcooked spaghetti. It might make a woman’s mojo rise, though.

Strong sweet citrus aroma with a hint of yeast. Pours a slightly cloudy orange color with a small light white head. Nice lacing. Mild hop taste when compared to the aroma. A little sweet on the finish. Light palate.

pours golden with slight off head which laces as you drink. aroma tangerines and pineapple with some sweet malt. taste is much the same as the aroma advertises that fades into biscuit malt dryness then a straight citrus bitterness. not bad not as aggressive as i like my dipas.

MHED (114) - lisle, USA - MAR 17, 2007
22 oz. bottle. poured a beautiful orange/copper with small white head. aroma of pineapple. mango, pear and grapefruit. Starts balanced with piney citrus and grass with light sugary sweetness and quickly lends way to a subtle but bitter resiny finish. Not much of a malt balance. Is very light in body for a 10%’er and was hoping for a little more complex malt/hop mix. still pretty good, and a reasonably priced BIG beer.

Pours slightly hazy orange/gold color with a moderate sized white head. Aroma is of citrus and grassy hops. Nice syrupy mouthfeel with citrus and grassy hops in the taste. Some sweet malts and alcohol come through on the finish. Overall not a bad beer but a little off balance.

Really good IPA! This is probably the best beer that the brewery makes and one you should definitely try.

Decent sized frothy white head of medium sized bubbles. Minimal carbonation. Nice citrusy grapefruit aroma with some floral notes. Light malt presence. Color is a medium golden orange. Light and citrusy flavor. Big alcohol presence since the body is quite thin. More light mlats. This brew is really overpowered by the alcohol presence which dominates the flavor. Finish is hoppy and bitter and with a lingering butterscotch. An ok IIPA but really needs more malts and sweetness to offset the big alcohol presence.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small fizzy white head, mostly diminishing, spare lacing. Aroma is light malt (grain, cereal), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, citrus), light yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of apple and pineapple. Medium bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation and a metallic finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness and acidity, heavy bitterness; salty.

Yellow/Gold Color with White Head. Alot of ’Green’ Hop Aroma. Medium Mouthfeel... Syrapy Malt...Apricot/Citrus Notes....Noticeable Warming...Alot of Hops on the Back of the Throat...Wet Dry Hop Aftertaste...A Good Balance of Malt and Hops...Overall, I Believe the Orginal Mojo Still Stands Tallest.
