3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle: Pours a cloudy light orange/yellow color with medium sized off white head. Aroma is full of sharp, bright citrusy hops, bit of grapefruit and apricot. Flavor is rather fruity, with grapefruit, peach, pear, slightly spicey, with fair amount of citrusy herbal hops and caramel. Finish is balanced but with a firm bitterness. A nice brew overall, a bit too much going on, too estery, etc., but still good.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
In the bomber bottle from Beertopia. Pours a beautifully deep dark and dense gold- so much that it seems a light amber in color. The head forms an enormous white pillow that is barely contained in an imperial pint glass when you pour this at 52°F. Aroma is outstanding: it smells downright green. green fresh mown grass. Grapefruit. Apricots. Really ripe pears. The flavor has about the same hop bitterness as the regular Mojo, but the stupid amount of malt sweetness does this beer a fantastic favor to create balance. The candy sweetness also has a great orange flavor. Thick and chewy palate. Good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz. bottle. Aroma was more to malty side than citrus. Cooper body with fizzy off white head. Juicy grapefriut and some citrus vine chewy flavor. Dry on the palate but that sweet citrus lingers for a decent aftertaste. Good Brew.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this a day after trying regular Mojo, making comparison inevitable. Similar golden color, nice head and a lot more aroma. Hits big with citrus hop flavors. Aftertaste indelible and satisfying, like tracks in steep powder behind you. Socks a bigger taste wallop than Mojo, but the higher ABV is stealthy like a Shaolin shadowboxer. Or in the words of Desmond Dekker: Beautiful and Dangerous.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours orange/golden with a big creamy orange/tan head. Strong semi-sweet grapefruit aroma. Flavor is initially bitter with lots of grapefruit, but the bitterness subsides to an undertone leaving a sweeter grapefruit flavor, and light roasted malt background. Bitterness returns slightly on the medium, dry finish. Overall okay, but a bit unbalanced

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice burnt orange color.Huge grapefruit aroma. Flavor is of a bitter grapefruit and a hop explosian in my mouth.I am not a huge fan of this style but the guys @ Boulder accomplished what they were going after.I think all hop heads will celebrate with this one.It is easy drinking with a good hop finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a good DIPA. Nothing sticks out, that would make it a great DIPA. The aroma and taste have been smelled and tasted a thousand times before. There are DIPAs, with lower alcohol levels, that are better. I feel bad about being so blunt, but this is a DIPA eat DIPA world.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle shared with a friend. Pours a clear bright gold with a small white fluff, much like the Hoppe I tried two days earlier. The amarillo hops come through in the nose with lots of grassiness and maybe a touch of citrus. The flavor is pleasant grass, citrus, and bitterness. A clean beer with plenty of hops and just enough malt presence to keep it from being a hop bomb. Alcohol is well hidden. Easy to drink.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear bright golden color, with a one finger fluffy white head that fades away to a soapy cap. The lacing is a solid sheet of foam, and sticks to the inside of my glass throughout the entire beer.
Smell; lots of citrus, with oranges lemons and a bit of grapefruit, with just a touch of pine trees as well. There’s a some hints of bread dough malts in the background, along with a little bit of a sugary aroma. There’s absolutely no hint of the 10.5% ABV at all.
Taste; this is a bit more piney upfront than it was in the aroma, with the citrus being secondary, with oranges and lemons. The malts are bready, and caramel, and the finish is a touch on the sugary side.
Mouthfeel is a bit thinner than you would expect for a DIPA, and the drinkability is very good for the really high ABV.
