Aroma was of earthy hops. Well malted to balance out the hop content. Overall a very good beer. SoLan (1432), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Clear gold. Small white head. Aroma of huge hops- grapefruit rind, subtle other citrus (oranges), pine trees, resin. Sweet pale malt in there, also. Same flavors. Not very complex, but very tasty. Like Mojo on steroids with less tangerine and more grapefruit. Medium/full body, balanced carbonation. Dangerously easy to drink for 10% abv. Very good brew. HonkeyBra (1404), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 6, 2009 22oz bomber fron Binny’s Glen Ellen. Golder orange, stickey white pour. Aroma of grapefruit, chlorine, something else off. Flavor is, as my girlfriend put it, like someone peed in a grapefruit. There’s also an off\-putting cloyingness and harsh astringent alcohol burn. Thin mouthfeel. This beer is fresh, so there is something definitely off here. SuzyGreenberg (1403), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 12, 2008 12oz bottle. Perfumy, grassy and floral hops overpower the nose. Some light citrus and pine, but leaning toward more Noble Hop tendencies. Light, toasted biscuit malt with a touch of honey underneath the hops. Has a very filtered look to it: bright, clear copper with a huge cloudlike white head. Grassy and floral hops... lots of them on the tongue. The alcohol is present as well as some toasted malt. Balanced, and not extreme for an IIPA, but it just doesn’t do it for me. Medium to full bodied with the alcohol showing more on the finish along with plenty of bitter hops. Flavor is of a bitter grapefruit and a hop explosian in my mouth.I am not a huge fan of this style but the guys @ Boulder accomplished what they were going after.I think all hop heads will celebrate with this one.It is easy drinking with a good hop finish. brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

I like the bittering hop sensation in this
