Commercial Description:
Oak-aged oatmeal stout as dark in color as deep space. Again Obovoid on oak adds earthy character to the roasted notes and bittersweet chocolate finish derived from the black and chocolate malts.

Bottled. A very dark red beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of alcohol and oatmeal, as well as medium notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, oatmeal, soy sauces, and alcohol, leading to a bitter, roasted, oatmeal finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

bottle, pours black with a thin off white to light tan head. Aroma is light oak has a nice earthyness and a roasted malt character that rides along side the cocoa nibs. Nice roasted maltbackbone ends with a light coffee and raoted malt bitter finish. Mouth is full of lively carbonation and a lingering finish. Not bad.

Bomber into pint glass. Black pour with light, off-white head. Nice lace.Pretty rich aroma of wood, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and some smoke. Flavor is pretty much the same, but with a hint of bitterness/hops on the finish. Very smooth, Very balanced. Alcohol doesn’t have too much of a presence. Meidum bodied with low fine carbonation. Overall: nothing outstanding from the rest or spectacular in its own right, but a very solid beer thats worth a try,
