A very dark red beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of alcohol and oatmeal, as well as medium notes of roasted malt. Aroma is light oak has a nice earthyness and a roasted malt character that rides along side the cocoa nibs. Nice roasted maltbackbone ends with a light coffee and raoted malt bitter finish. Nice lace.Pretty rich aroma of wood, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and some smoke. Flavor is pretty much the same, but with a hint of bitterness/hops on the finish. Very smooth, Very balanced. Alcohol doesn’t have too much of a presence. Meidum bodied with low fine carbonation. Overall: nothing outstanding from the rest or spectacular in its own right, but a very solid beer thats worth a try,
