Aurora, Co - Old Chicago Pizza - Iliff Ave - on tap. Dark copper pour, sticky off-white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing. Aroma has a nice sweet toffee essence to it. Flavor has some nice toffee notes, a back end of caramel and just a hint of citrusy bitterness. Mouthfeel is decently thick.

(draft 7/19/10). Clear dark amber color. Small off white head. Moderate toast, malt, and caramel aroma. Flavor of the same. Avg duration. Light dry finish. Thin/slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

On tap at Old Chicago Westminster poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness and a hint of earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, fruittiness and a hint of earthiness with a crisp fruity finishg.
