2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 arminjewell (3107) - Parker, Colorado, USA - APR 1, 2012
Pour on tap at Old Chicago, dark red pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of slight dark fruits, toffee and caramel with some spicy and grassy hops. Taste was a bit much on the hop and didn’t balance all too well, some slight grain and toast, grass and pine bitter a lot and cover most of the caramel and toffee notes.

Tap @ Old Chicago Foco Harmony. Clear, burnt orange appearance with a big, white head. Spicy, bitter, resiny, a touch citrusy hoppy, light soapy aroma. Soapy, somewhat spicy, earthy hoppy, toasty malty, a bit burnt flavor. I’m not a fan.

Has not much of a scent, nice amber color with a frothy white head. Has a nice malty taste that covers up the bitterness.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RSRIZZO (1679) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAR 2, 2012
On tap at Old Chicago Colorado Springs. Color is a deep amber with very low carbonation and a thick off white head. Aroma is very faint, I only get a trace of malt. It has a medium body that goes down with a light smooth mouth feel. Flavor has a bit of toffee, a touch of hop spice and then a bold bitterness. Overall its a nice easy drinking brew but there’s just not much to it.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nikiel (714) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 24, 2011
Pours a light gold with minimal foam. Smells lightly hopped with hints of sweetness. Tastes a little too much like a macro-brew, but is a decent esb, with a good balance of hops and malts.
